Yesterday we needed to pump the pond. Added a half ounce to the water for 900 gallons. Filled the tank well and have to wait till we add salt and bleach. Works great to make drinkable water.

The potassium permanganate worked flawlessly for starting a fire with a little glycerin. We took this on a recent camping trip just for a bit of fun and variety for starting a campfire. Pretty cool how this stuff reacted with the glycerin.

Great product. Just make sure you use a very small amount in a bowl of water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes and you will be surprised.

I had some fungi or something on my feet for a month (couldn’t treat properly because I was traveling). I started by making 2 baths per day for a week, then 1 per day for a week, and then 1 every 2 days. Everything was gone!
Just make sure you are measuring the amount of permanganate correctly. It stains and is actually very dangerous chemical, don’t play around if you don’t know what you’re doing…
Oh btw, it turns fingernails black, and you need to wait for them to completely regrow (or scratch off the blackened surface with a knife).

I carry this in my rucksack as a water sterilization additive. I use it to sterilize water from lakes ponds and streams in Alaska backcountry. It also works well as an emergency fire starter. Google it. I have been using this for close to 60 years. Research it before trying this product.
