    These capsules come in a sealed and dated container. They are easy to take and work well. The effects are pretty obvious and leave no doubt that digestion is in play.

    My favorite and time to take after a meal is pineapple. Fresh pineapple. Nothing takes care of the stomach like that. However, that’s not always possible to do. Sometimes the stores are out and sometimes the ones that they have are terrible and sometimes they’re overpriced. So I take enzymes in tablet form. They seem to work pretty well with no negative side effects. I feel like me and suffer from hypochlorohydria then this would be a good supplement to take with meals. The price is reasonable.

    Maybe my body does not need it? My 3 star rating does not mean that I think any less of this product. I just didn’t find it did anything for me personally. I was hoping it would help me digest and move things through my system better, as others have mentioned, but it didn’t with me… I have horribly slow digestion, and am always looking for something that might help. Might be good for someone who needs the ingredients of this, but unfortunately not me.

    There’s an allergy warning on the bottle that this contains milk, but no allergy warning on the product page. Had I known this, I would not have gotten it, as I am allergic to milk. Very disappointed

    I grew up deathly allergic to dairy (not lactose intolerant), to where I’d be in the hospital a couple times a year. This went on for most of my childhood and adult life. About 10yrs ago I tried enzymes and found I could enjoy pizza, ice cream, etc…within moderation…because my body was lacking the enzyme to break down certain foods. Since then I’ve been trying all kinds of brands of enzymes to find out which impacts my wallet the least (cost affordable) and yet gives me the opportunity to enjoy all foods.

    INGREDIENTS:
    Pancreatine 4X (porcine) 325mg
    Amylase 32,500 USP
    Protease 32,500 USP
    Lipase 2,600 USP

    Also, microsystaline cellulose, gelatin (bovine), vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.

    — The vegans are going to ignore this product due to the bovine (cow/beef) ingredient.

    > The challenge with supplements is there are no required standards of measurement. Every brand uses different measurements (HUT, AGU, SU, FIP, etc) and it’s so confusing.

    > Also I have a brand that has Pancreatine 10X @ 75mg. Whereas this is Pancreatine 4X @ 325mg. I don’t know if there is simple multiplication to do here or if measurements are determined differently between a 10X and a 4X, regardless of how many milligrams.

    + Brand B that works well for me only has 50% of the Protese and Amulase as this one…if both USP measurements are the same.

    > Brand C that I have has so much more in it than this one (Glucoamylase, Pectinase, Papain, etc.).
    So if you need something other than the four(4) main ingredients provided here, you may need to look at other brands.

    + 100 count for $20 is doable on my wallet, and so much better than brands that only offer 60-70 count for the same price.

    > Whatever the dose of limited ingredients that are in here, this does act as a laxative and there is a clear evacuation for me the next morning. Some people may not be expecting or wanting this side effect.

    OVERALL:
    I just had chicken enchiladas with cheese. Plus, drizzled Mexican Crema (sour cream) on top; plus sprinkled Cotija cheese grated across the side salad and I did NOT get an allergic reaction.
    These work for me!!

    I have used these for about a week and seen no change. I also had some side effects, including nausea and joint pain. These are supposed to be taken 3 times daily with meals to aid in digestion and support a healthy digestive system. I am very familiar with this brand and trust its quality.

    I started taking the Pomona Wellness brand recently and was pleased with the quality so I decided to give this one a try also. I have some minor issues with dairy and also with gas. And periodically I like to have large meals. I started taking this about three weeks ago and I’ve noticed that my body can handle dairy a lot better now with the assistance of this digestive enzyme.

    Additionally, my gas problems have largely subsided and overall my GI track feels a lot better with no issues. Definitely one of the better Digestive Enzyme supplements out there and I would not hesitate for a second to purchase more.

    I have taken this Digestive Enzyme by POMONA WELLNESS at the first sign of overly full belly, bloating, cramping, and I have gotten relief. This enzyme supports my digestive system, helps with the breakdown of food, and increases my absorption of the nutrients in the food I eat. Also these enzymes make it easier to eliminate each morning.

    These enzymes are made in the USA at an FDA inspected facility. That sets my mind at rest that this is a superior product.
