I ordered this and the lotion. Both were half empty when I got them. Even if the advertised weight of product comes in the tubes, it feels odd. Why not sell it in smaller tubes? I can’t speak to the efficacy of the seller’s scientific claims about the product. I can say the lotion smells a bit off but feels ok. Nothing special. The ointment doesn’t perform miracles but I wasn’t expecting it to. I usually use lanolin for small cuts and abrasions and will continue to do so instead of repurchasing this. I was not amazed by either product. Would have given 4 stars if the tubes weren’t mostly empty. Bit pricey for the amount recieved.

We use this on my bed ridden mom’s superficial bed sores. She is turned regularly but the beginning of sores do crop up. This product was introduced to us by the wound nurse. It works incredibly well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Everything they say is true, for this product, from this Distributor. I consider myself very fortunate that I have really good skin. However, this winter I had a persistent rash that just was not healing. I had heard of Manuka Honey, but had never tried it. As an older adult, the price was an issue for me.
I know several Beekeepers, so I fully understand that it is a labor intensive “occupation”. More appropriately, Beekeeping is a labor of love because you generally don’t get rich from your “crop”. Although, in the case of Manuka Honey, that may no longer be true.
Back to my rash… I had been treating the rash for the better part of 3 weeks with no considerable improvement. It was basically on 2 opposing skin surfaces so, where
there was healing, when those surfaces touched, they ripped that area, the scabbed over area, right off. It was extremely painful and I could not get an appointment with my doctor for another month.
I was desperate for something that could protect the parts that were trying to heal, aid in the healing of the parts that were not showing any improvement, that would help with the pain and, lastly, I needed it to stay in place. In my absolute desperation, I purchased the product that gave me the greatest value, ie; more product for the best price… First Honey.
I could not believe the difference after just 1 application! All I can say is Thank God for First Honey! I applied First Honey’s Manuka just before bed and I could not believe what I was seeing in the morning! The open wounds that had been raw and oozing were now new pink skin! The exclamation mark’s are well deserved and not an exaggeration. Within just a few days, my month long ordeal was ending. I would have furnished pictures, of the rash, but modesty prevents it.
It did everything I needed it to do, and LOADS more! It stayed exactly where I put it. It helped the pain, which helped me sleep and I literally could not believe what I was seeing. Not just healing, not just scabs, but new skin! It was worth every penny.
From now on, I will have an ample supply and an “emergency” supply of Manuka Honey by First Honey.
I’m wondering just how far the benefits of Manuka Honey extend?I’ve always been appreciative of the miracle of bees, but this takes that to a whole new level.

This stuff heals wounds and cuts twice as fast!! I don’t know why this isn’t regularly sold in stores or even known about but this stuff is a game changer! I have a skin condition in my cuts heel slowly but not when I apply this ointment. Will be purchasing again and again and again!

We purchased this for cuts on my husband’s hands from the cold weather. It seems to work well but the tube is not full. Others have said the same thing.

Honey, is a good way to solve some wound issues. A little goes a long way, which is good cause, frankly this stuff is expensive, but worth it. It helps prevent bacteria, such as Staph from growing, and if you are already unfortunately having MRSA problems, it helps sterilize the wound(with the help of heavy duty antibiotics working in your blood stream). Wound specialists at Mayo are quite the pushers of manuka honey, or medical honeys as they call them. Is it sticky, yup, does it kinda run everywhere, yup. Does it work, yup. First time i used this i used it with regular gauze pads. new wound my dr has introduced me to silicone foam sticky bandaging that looks like a gauze pad but is self sticking and kinda weird, but man that works great with this brand of medical honey you just squeeze onto the foam pad thingy and it will kinda flow around then slap that on the wound…the old gauze pad way it didn’t really spread well you kinda had to squeeze the tube to put the honey directly on the wound, not always possible. But works a treat no matter how you end up using this stuff.
