I got this for the collagen, but tried it in plain water and nearly vomited. I want to try it in an actual martini, but am afraid it will make me waste all the alcohol. I guess I’ll try it in a latte tomorrow. Maybe.
Honestly, I have nothing to compare the taste too. The closest I can come is that it tastes a little like instant coffee with a touch of wood bark. I just know that I really hate the flavor in plain water!

The ingredients in this powdered blend appealed to me with its variety of different supplements and superfoods as well as the main ingredient being collagen. I was mainly looking for something to improve the growth and appearance of my hair. On the collagen front this delivers a pretty high dose with 5000mg of a mix between a few different sources in a single serving. A serving is, with the included scooper, a smaller medium sized one with 10.5g. It mixes fairly cleanly but does have some separation with an accumulation of a syrupy sediment at the bottom. The flavor is just okay. To me the espresso flavor isn’t really there and its somewhere between a chocolate and a earthy sweet taste. The color the liquid turns to with water is a deep dark brown.
Effects wise, I noticed a slight calmness after drinking it which I suppose would be attributed to the ashwagandha. With hair benefits, I would say it is likely working but would need to take it over quite some time to see the full results.
