This is a good formula for leaky gut using IgY Max to improve gut function along with probiotics, bone broth and collagen. It seems to help with my GI tract issue and help improve the gut flora. It like that has a pretty decent taste and is easy to go down. The powder is easy to mix in water. It is thin but the chocolate taste is decent. Slightly sweetened.
Overall, this is a pretty powder for leaky gut. It seems to help with my gut issue and hasn’t caused any irritations yet. It is pricey but worth giving it a try if you have a leaky gut issue. Good-tasting, easy to go drink and seems helpful.

By way of background, I have been told I have leaky gut, but it manifests itself as a variety of skin conditions – I don’t usually get gas or bloating. But the number of skin conditions is high, and quite annoying.
After taking this for a few weeks, I can say that many of these conditions appear to be moderating noticeably, which is great. In my experience, that can be due to a number of factors – the season, changes in diet, or what have you, but keeping those factors in mind, I think that my skin is improving. Time will tell whether that’s due to this repair powder or it’s just cyclical.
I did not have any adverse reaction to the powder, such as gas or bloating. As far as taste – it’s vanilla. OK- not awesome – I’m not going out of my way to drink it. I love the fact that it has L-helviticus in it – the other probiotics I can get elsewhere, but I have wanted to try helviticus and this had it. Also good that it has prebiotics as well.
Does this work? Maybe. Is it expensive – definitely. I’ll need to make a decision about buying more when I finish this off – if I see continued improvement, then maybe I’ll take the plunge. At the current price point, it’s a tough decision without further evidence of efficacy. But I do like it so far.

I already was familiar with this company, having used (and loved) their digestive enzyme supplement several years back.
I’d since developed serious leaky gut issues, and it got so bad that I had to stay completely off of solid food because my stomach would hurt after eating basically anything.
Trust me when I say that fixing a leaky gut is THE main thing that will start the ball rolling for your health.
I had serious inflammation, low energy, brain fog, and joint pain for over four years. In recent months I’d even started developing Alzheimer’s-type symptoms because of how inflamed my body was! This all kept me from living a more “normal” life and made me far less active than my late 20’s self could’ve been.
I’m now 3 weeks into using this, and can feel a definite difference! Can’t wait to see how I feel after I’ve finished a second container of this.
Again, don’t start by looking for supplements for pain, inflammation, etc. Start by healing your gut by taking this. I also take Triphala in the morning to help clean me out, but I started taking this first, and I know it’s the main thing that’s making the difference.
It’s worth every penny to get your health back. Buy it!

I love this product. It’s so beneficial and tastes great. However, it’s nearly impossible to open. The plastic is bendable so when you’re squeezing for dear life to open the container it collapses. The lid gets stuck on the inner protective paper covering that is too large prohibiting the lid from turning. Please do better with your package and less plastic!

The Leaky Gut Guardian Repair Powder in chocolate flavor is based on IgY Max, an egg-based immunoglobulin that seals leaky gut.
Leaky gut has gotten a lot of press in the past 5 years and I’m glad there are products to address this. That said, you should really embrace dietary changes to prevent leaky gut from occurring. This isn an effective product to use when you think you are suffering from the effects of leaky gut.
This helps with gas and bloating and has both prebiotics and probiotic components.
I had no adverse reactions to using this and feel it does help balance my gut. I’m happy with the product.

Gluten Guardian has been around for a while and has legions of big fans. We’ve had a family member with a gluten allergy / sensitivity and we understand just how important extra help can be. Before embarking on any supplementation, consult your doc first, of course. It’s worth trying although these days it is much easier to eat gluten free. At this price, it’s great to know that at the time of this review Amazon offers a free 30 day return.

I bought this item before and I am sure it worked pretty well. However I accidentally bought two of these items and it has been an extreme hassle to get a return. The company usually doesn’t do returns but I bought two by mistake. One of the containers was jammed and there is no way to open it unless I break the container.
I would not buy from them again. Product is expensive and their strict return policy deters me away from this company.
