I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
This container comes full up to the neck, which is rare among supplements and even rarer among powder supplements.
If used as directed it will last 16.5 to 33 days (33 servings per container). A serving is 3 grams, which is approximately 3/4 teaspoon. I have a few supplements now that are portioned out in grams and do not come with a scoop for some reason, so I am getting a small gram scale.
The “best by” date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom!) is Dec 2025.
The scent that stands out the most to me is cinnamon, but all the ingredients are somewhat powerful. I like that you can see little strands and bits of the ingredients in the powder. I am considering trying it in capsules rather than making a tea of it, just in the interest of time; I kind of like the flavor.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says GMO free, made in India (though the product page says Country of Origin: USA), has a GMP stamp, and says heavy metal tested (does not indicate if it’s 3rd party).
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle and website. Their intusthewayoflife site is functional and informative. The site discusses their mission, research, and has their founder’s bio. The site also has things like information on their wellness program and a quiz to help with your wellness plan.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but this is different from my usual supplements, and I like the ingredient blend, including the lack of fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to.
The price is higher than I am used to, but to be confident you’re getting a quality supplement from a reliable company is worth at least part of that, and if it helps you meet your goal for taking it, even better!
Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

This product mixes well into water. Both hot and cold. They recommend boiling water. I did it with both. It tastes fine. A bit off at first I think it is the pepper. By the end of first serving it is fine. Just unexpected. So far I enjoy it. I recommend it.

This Immune Support Powder for Cold Prevention by Intus has a combined amount of Holy Basil (1.3g), 666 mg each of cinnamon stem bark and ginger rhizomes. About 10% (333 mg of each 3 gram serving) is black pepper fruit.
This powder doesn’t come with a scoop so I didn’t have to dig to fish it out – just used a tsp. The issue is one tsp is about 4.2 g and one serving – based on the instructions – is 3 grams. I ended up trying to use about 3/4 of a tsp to get one serving. It might have been easier just to include a small 3 g measuring spoon with the tub.
Other than the awkward measurement for one serving, we really like the cinnamon-like taste in our smoothie. It adds an interesting flavor while bringing diversity to what we consume. Can’t comment on the impact to our health / immune system, but we try to vary our diet to ensure we get as many nutrients as possible.
The instructions say to add this Intus Immune Support Powder for Cold Prevention to boiling water, but our preference is to simply add it to our smoothie – it mixes in well with our berries, almond milk, protein powder, and bananas. The quality seems to be good with GMP and heavy metals testing noted on the label. There’s also a batch number and an expiration date a little over a year from when we received it. There’s a number, QR code, and email on the label and that’s part of the GMP certification – makes me feel like this is a quality product. See photos.
This tub has about 33 servings if you stick to the 3/4 teaspoon.
Overall happy with this product- we went out of our comfort zone to try this, and happy we did.

This is easy to mix into water. The directions call for boiling water. I mixed it in just under boiling so I could add a tea bag to the water, too, and it mixed well with my 170° water.
The taste is a little odd. I didn’t realize pepper was a significant ingredient. It makes sense if we’re talking immunity, because pepper helps boost immunity, but it also makes this taste very pepper-forward. Not bad, just takes a little getting used to. Like I said, I added a tea bag to mix this with my tea, and that helped make the flavor more palatable for me! It’s quite versatile as a mix in once you get used to it, and not bad alone, either.

Personally, we weren’t fans of it in straight hot or cold water but, it works great in our smoothies. Do your research on how these ingredients can help you! Also, there isn’t a measuring scoop in ours so, you’ll have to figure out the dosing, by searching online. Made in India! B+ product

The ingredients are simple, I like that alot. I didn’t like the flavor. I tried both hot and cold hot mixed better and more thoroughly than cold. I could not find a suitable flavor to mask the odd taste .
