I ordered the Organic Sacha Inchi Protein Powder – Amazonian Seed – 100% Natural, Vegan, Gluten-Free, 9 Grams – Plant Based – Low Carb, 9 Essential Amino Acids, 300mg Omega 3, Rich in Fiber. This is the first time I have ever tried this type of protein powder, and I ordered it since I have sensitivities and can only eat certain proteins. This is a smaller pouch, but it is packed completely to the brim. It comes in a resealable pouch, and because it’s packed to the seal you could have a mess. I wasn’t able to reseal it and probably because it was so full and powder was getting in the seal. That is fine, as I can just put this in a container or flip the top over and use a clip. I prefer less waste for the earth so it’s something I won’t complain about. I think it is good, but it’s not very flavorful. I honestly don’t even know what to compare it to for taste. It’s pleasant, not strong, mixes easily with water, and I even like it eating it plain. If I close my eyes it can almost taste like a sugar-free peanut butter powder, but it is not as fine as that. However, don’t take my word for it since I really can’t think of anything that it tastes like. I appreciate any kind of protein powders I can have that don’t have that distinct protein powder taste which this doesn’t. This pouch has 17 servings, and each survey has quite a bit of protein at 9 g. It has 7% of your daily fiber so that’s helpful since protein can be binding. It says it is organic which I appreciate. On the listing it says it’s sugar-free, however, there is 1 g of sugar per serving according to the label. That’s not really much, but that doesn’t make it sugar-free. I’m happy there aren’t any other additives. Overall, I’m happy with this and I can make protein bars with it, drinks, or hide it in a variety of foods since it doesn’t have a strong taste, thank you.

Being an athlete, I’m always searching for ways to boost my protein intake and this product was a great addition to my other methods of increasing my protein intake. Let’s talk about the product…
If you’re looking for a natural, plant-based protein, this organic Sacha Inchi powder is a great choice.
Each serving provides 9 grams of protein, 9 essential amino acids, 300mg of Omega-3 fatty acids, and plenty of fiber for a healthy diet. The resealable pouch is handy despite being tightly packed, you still get the full amount.
Due to its high solubility, it easily dissolves in food and beverages, producing a delicious taste and making it ideal for protein bars, drinks, or incorporation into various other food items.

I’ve been putting a tablespoon of this into my morning smoothies & it’s been working out great. Doesn’t add any detectable change in taste or texture, which is real good. Seems to be very high quality.
I like that it comes in a resealable zip pouch.
I appreciate that this is made in the Colombia of just one single organic ingredient & is certified USDA organic. There’s a clear lot number & expiration date of 09/2025 (over a 1/2 year out) on the back of the pouch. I’m very happy with this protein powder & highly recommend it.

I had never heard of sacha inchi, so I was eager to try this new-to-me protein option. The Aliksir for Life powder is certified organic and is claimed to be grown sustainably by Colombian farmers, which are both big pluses for me. The powder dissolves well in water and has a slight, somewhat nutty flavor. I am using it in my fruit smoothies and the flavor is not noticeable. I have been using pea protein powder, which has a somewhat unpleasant taste, so this is an improvement. The sacha inchi powder is very digestible, and I’ve read that it is high in unsaturated fat and other important micronutrients. The downside is that sacha ichi is considerably lower in protein (9 grams per serving compared to 27 grams in pea powder), so I am using two tablespoons. This still doesn’t yield as much protein, and brings my cost per serving up quite a bit. Even so, I still recommend this product and will continue to use it because of its many positive qualities.

This is a delicious Great well to add protein to your diet. I love that it’s made of organic ingredients, I work out and this is a great after or before workout gives that boost of energy you need. The powder mixed with fluid is a good consistency without being to thick and not hard to drink.

I’ve tried sacha inchi seeds, which I love, but never a protein powder.
I love that it is one ingredient with no added fillers or flavors that never taste like what they say they will. This has what I’d describe as a bland nutty taste, which makes it perfect for my purposes. I make my own grain-free granola and protein coffee cakes/muffins, and always. My digestive system insists I don’t use whey, soy, or rice, so adding protein to these can be a challenge if I don’t want my finished product to taste like “hey it’s obvious there’s protein powder in here!” or without adding unwanted texture. This sacha inchi protein just added a bit of nutty flavor (no issue because the granola is largely nuts already, and the loaves contain nut butter) and didn’t change the texture. I assume it would also work well in smoothies.
I did transfer it from the bag to a mason jar because the bag didn’t want to stand in my cabinet on its own and I’m always wary of zipper bag spills.
