I’m trying to lose weight, so I buy collagen powder as a way to add more protein to my breakfast without adding more fat. Any benefits to your skin, hair, joints are an added bonus. This collagen powder comes from multiple sources: cows, fish, chicken (broth) and eggs. The fact that it comes from multiple sources is supposed to be good for you (I’m not sure why!). It also has 100% of your daily requirement of vitamin C in one 2-scoop serving as well as some probiotic ingredients.
I was concerned when I saw that it contained “fish collagen peptides” that the powder would taste fishy, but it doesn’t—not at all. It is unflavored, I think, but it does have a very, very slight vanilla-y scent to me—almost indiscernible. It dissolves just like any other collagen powder, and is tasteless. (I drink it in low-fat milk or in iced coffee.) I’ve tried it in hot coffee, but it adds a slightly gluey texture that I don’t like. (Other collagen powders do the same thing.)
The only thing that concerns me about the product is the numerous grammar and spelling errors on the label. Normally, that doesn’t bother me, but in a food or nutrition product, it makes me nervous because I wonder about how safe the product might be. The label says that it is “made in the USA with selected ingredients from around the world.” I did Google the company and found it in Yorba Linda, as listed on the label. I’m just going to assume (hope!) that the product is safe. However, I probably would never have worried about the safety had it not been for all the mistakes on the label. (That is the reason why I gave the product 4 stars rather than 5.) I hope the manufacturer will correct those mistakes to reassure future buyers.

The Theraputica premium collagen is now part of my pre and post workout nutrition. I like that it does not change the flavor of my drink. At first I was mixing it in plain water and I was amazed how quickly it dissolved in water with very little mixing needed. I take it mostly for the digestive enzymes and the joint support I’m getting old so not much hair left for it to support but in case it ever grows back I’m ready.

I have enjoyed this in so many things. Dissolves easily. I have enjoyed it in my protein smoothies and teas.

Updated: this is gross in hot coffee. It’s the only collagen powder I’ve used that turns into thick, oily, sludge at the top of the drink
THERAPUTICA Collagen Peptides Protein Powder has its pros and cons. On the positive side, the unflavored taste makes it versatile for mixing into various beverages or recipes, and the inclusion of probiotics is a nice touch for gut health. However, the glaring issue lies in the numerous typos on the label, which gives off an impression of carelessness and raises concerns about the overall quality and attention to detail in the product. Despite being made in the USA, the fact that the label is clearly translated with broken English is puzzling and contributes to an overall lack of confidence in the product. With these drawbacks in mind, I’d rate it at 3 stars.

I really like this product. It has 4 types of collagen which helps provide all the benefits of taking collagen. It has no flavor which makes it easy to use with any drink. It dissolves well in water, warm fluids (like coffee) or colder fluids (like smoothies or shakes). It also has a pleasant smell similar to vanilla
I like that it also has probiotics, digestive enzymes and vitamin C which makes it complete as the listing mentions. I’m very happy with this collagen product.

I got this when I switched from a desk job to an occasionally back breaking labor job. Because of the change in my activity level, I don’t know how this worked, but I’m sure it would have been for the best. If you work your muscles, you need to support your muscles. This does just that.

Flavor is tolerable I don’t mind it in plain water on empty stomach doesn’t bother me but I do go poo after sometimes if I guess I needed to but couldn’t? As far as seeing improvement in skin, nails or pain haven’t really noticed much but will try again until I finish to see if it makes a difference keeping closer eye on it.
