    Before this was a pre-packaged item, Zach had numerous recipes to make this on your own. All of those recipes are delicious. They took a little time to make but they were worth it. This stuff tastes strongly of pea protein. I’ve only mixed it with water and milk and I plan to use it for ice cream bases but I would definitely not use it they way I did the homemade butters. No hate on zach – he is such an awesome dude this just fell a bit short for me.

    I have tried this before for some recipes and i absolutely loved it. Last time i ordered it through their website. I saw that it was on Amazon now so i decided to order it from here since i had a gift card. I got the brownie batter and cookies and cream. I noticed when i opened the bag the lids were coming off on both of the containers. When i pulled them out the powder was everywhere. When i did some looking i saw that the brownie batter came with the protective seal open on one side. I really wish i could give this 5 stars but losing most of my powder in the mail is troubling.

    I bought this for a recipe based on an Instagram suggestion. Unfortunately, I just don’t think it tastes good. It smells and tastes like bland pea protein. It’s not sweet. It’s really expensive per gram. And I don’t think it added anything of note to the recipe I used it in. I tried it as a spread on toast as well, and I personally found it yucky.

    If you don’t like protein powder taste this product is not for you. If you are someone who doesn’t mind the taste of protein powder, you will probably like it just fine. Its a shame it can’t be returned. Also is pretty expensive for such a small jar of powder.

    Tastes pretty good, but was disappointed in the minuscule size of the canister for the money. Also, it leaves my food with a deep purple, bruise-like color, not chocolate looking at all. I could get around that if not for the overpriced nature of the product. It’s 1/4 of the amount of protein powder I get in other brands for that price and it isn’t 4xs better to justify it.
