I started taking Magnesium before bed for the plethora of reported advantages about 3 years ago. Reading and hearing podcasts by Dr Mark Hyman also convinced me I was missing out. So, I have tried a good handful of brands, with the ‘best tasting’ being Spring Valley (Walmart’s house brand). They all have dissolved as described, mixed with about 3-4oz of cold water. I bought this one based upon price and availability from Amazon and have reordered it.
I agree with other reviewers saying the taste is rough, but not rough enough to gag or anything like that. After 1 tub, it is an acquired taste and now is pleasant. The kicker is the added L-Theanine, which for me, seems to really work well. I was taking melatonin with Magnesium (I have a very active brain) and told myself I wanted to cycle off the melatonin. To my surprise, I actually sleep better with out and I believe this is because the L-Theanine. Overall this is a good Magnesium supplement. They need to add a few different flavors and smooth out the existing flavor, but I would recommend it.

I am on my second order. I like the flavor. I strongly recommend following the directions to begin with a lower amount and work slowly to the full recommended dose. In addition to getting much more available magnesium I found it resolved my problem with constipation which was the result of two medications I take daily.

This is the best Magnesium supplement I ever tried. it relaxes muscle, help me to sleep and constipation. Onset of effect is fast vs the capsule form or comparable powder form. Highly recommend this product and will be ordering on regular basis.

I had purchased this before, so I knew what I was getting. I really Love this Magnesium. The flavor is Great and it makes me sleep so good, and helps clean me out the first couple days , so feel for calm and refreshed. I recommend it and and actually prefer it over the Calm brand .
