No matter what I tried, this will not break down and dissolve.
That can cause it to swell in the Throat and Esophagus and cause someone to choke to death.

The value for the amount you get is undeniably good, but what use is that when a scoop of it hardly dissolves at all in a glass of water? I tried it with cold first, and had to gulp down literally chunks of fiber powder after stirring it vigorously for 30 seconds straight. I tried room temperature water next, and the only difference is that it was nastier to get down.
I guess I’ll stick to Metamucil going forward, because whatever else it is, at least it plays well enough with water to not separate into clumps when I stir it.

Has a bit of a taste for me but not too bad and it does take a bit of sturing to fully dissolve in the water. Overall it’s alright for me.

This stuff… I hate it. I bought a jar to try because my usual brand that is Simply Better jumped up in price suddenly. While this stuff is less expensive, you certainly DO get what you pay for, and you don’t get what you don’t pay for!
It clumps and becomes very gummy in cold fluids, like the tangerine juice I drink it in every morning. I sift one scoop full of powder in slowly as I stir the cup vigorously but: It just will NOT dissolve! Once it starts to clump, forget it. It forms a heavy sticky slimy blob that WILL NOT DISSOLVE. Truly disgusting to gulp down! UGH!
If you use it in HOT fluids, it will work better, but for me? NO THANKS! I’m going back to my Simply Better dietary fiber. It dissolves INSTANTLY in cold fluids (and hot) and never clumps or becomes slimy.

I was advised by my doctor to take Benefiber for the fiber, and have been doing so for some months. Then I saw Nature Made which is the same thing It does what all the reviewers have said, and also comes with scoop which is great. As another reviewer said it does not say how often to take it, but it is a good size
scoop, so I take half of it with my coffee at breakfast, and half with my dinner in the evening. It seems to work out well that way and you are still getting your full scoop for the day. I would definitely recommend
it so buy it and enjoy !

I use mine every morning in my coffee or tea. Haven’t had any issue with it dissolving or the taste.
You can also put in your foods and smoothies. I tried them all.

For best results when mixing with liquid; put one scope in heat proof glass or plastic, add one inch of very hot water, mix well, add cold liquid and drink. The product needs heat to mix easily and prevent clumping

I have been a reluctant fan of psyllium husks for awhile now, so I wanted to try something that was a little less noxious to consume in the morning. This either takes longer to kick in or is comparatively subtle. I think that I’ll stick with psyllium.
