Has everything for rehydration. This is one of the few these days that sticks to cane sugar and dextrose as part of the electrolyte replacement formula. The artificial, non sugar stuff is fine for super basic rehydration and light activity days. Best for those that may not otherwise drink water. But for actual dehydration, or heat or strenuous activities where stores are getting low (and drinking plain water would further dilute the body) then this Hydration I.V. is a good choice. For whatever reason, it is extra sweet to me. Not sure why they added stevia into the mix. Alas, I dont really drink these for recreation, mostly out of need. Bonus if it tastes good– and this is pretty good to me, albeit a tad sweeter than I prefer. Just really pleased to see that it has legit electrolyte replacement formula going on, yet not so out there that it tastes bad. They did well with this. I would/will buy this again. Definitely putting some in my hiking bag and car kit.

This definitely is not the cheapest product out there but it is excellent. Seems to have lots of added extras compared to most of the hydration type products that I have tried. The flavor was absolutely wonderful. Nice easy convenient to use packages. Just dump it in mix it up and enjoy. The ingredients in this product contain Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) 99mg, Niacin (as Niacinamide) 18 mg, Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCI) 1.9mg, Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) 2.65mcg, Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium D-Pantothenate) 5.5mg, Phosphorus (as Dipotassium Phosphate) 50mg, Sodium (from Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrat, ITM) 500mg, Potassium (from Potassium Citrate, Dipotassium Phosphate) 370mg, Ionic Trace Mineral & Electrolyte Complex 100mg. -Pure cane sugar, non-GMO dextrose, non-GMO citric acid, natural flavors, steviol glycosides, rice bran extract, silicon dioxide. Compare this to some of the other brands out there and it definitely seems to be a quality product. Body reacted well to it. Overall I like it.

My husband regularly drinks sports drinks and I’m always on the lookout for the healthier varieties.
He likes the flavor of this one and the four star is his rating. For me, I’d give it maybe 3 stars because it’s just too sweet tasting for my preferences. He’s got a higher tolerance for sweet but even he thinks this is almost too sweet for him too. I wish that could be toned down a little because the flavor is good and I like that it doesn’t have the artificial flavoring and coloring in it that so many sports drinks have. The other minor quibble I have is the packets don’t always tear clean so I end up having to get scissors. That’s fine if we are home or at the office but if we tossed some packets in our bag when out hiking or somewhere we don’t take scissors with us it might be annoying to get the mix cleanly in the water bottle. It would be more convenient if they had the little tear going across (instead of down on one corner like they are), they’d be easier to tear clean that way.

I have used Trace Minerals in the past with good results. When I saw this electrolyte replacement pack, I decided to give it a try. The outer package is clearly labeled with the nutrition it contains. Inside are 16 travel packs for convenience. I added the packet to a 12oz bottle. The flavor is slightly salty with a sweet coconut flavor. My husband LOVED it! I prefer unsweetened because many recovery drinks are too sweet for my taste. For that reason, I would add it it to 32oz or more. Overall, I felt this was a balanced recovery drink with a good supply of b vitamins, potassium, vitamin c, and trace minerals. Cost wise, it’s about $1.50/pack. which a little pricey but convenient for on the go hydration.

Highly pleased with this electrolyte powder, with the extreme heatwave we’ve been having it’s important now to stay hydrated especially when exercising or working outdoors, I used these for mountain biking, and I feel they worked great, and even have a great sweet taste, I felt plenty hydrated with good energy levels.
It has a nice sodium boost at 500 mg and uses Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, ITM for the sources, it also has 5 vitamins, as-well as minerals for fast absorption, it does contain a small amount of sugar at 6g, this powder mix can be added to 16-24 fl oz of water, I mixed it with 21 oz, and had no problems getting it to mix or dissolve, this product is sweetened with stevia (steviol glycosides) and is naturally flavored.
Overall I highly recommend, this includes 16 large individually sealed packets (16g), my package has a great exp date of 05/24.
Made in USA,
Non-GMO, cCMP, 3rd party tested.

I’ve used the competitor’s Liquid IV brand many times in the past, and I was excited to get the chance to see how Hydration I.V. compared. It’s nearly identical in price, taste, and packaging. I do like this strawberry coconut flavor, which is different from the Liquid IV strawberry flavor. They seem to do the exact same thing as far as energy and how I feel after drinking it. I don’t have the other brand’s packaging to compare it to, but I’m going to guess that they are very similar. I think this one gets one point off for not mixing as well as the other brand. It does get dissolved eventually, but I seemed to have better mixing results with the other brand. If you like the other one, you will probably like this one too. It might come down to which flavors you prefer.

I didn’t notice when I requested these that there’s sugar in them. Thought it was just the electrolytes. I tasted a sip of one and it tasted fine, but I don’t do sugar, so going to have to see if there’s someone I can give the rest of them to. The 3 star rating is entirely my own fault. They probably are great if you don’t mind the sugar in there.

I wish I would have read the ingredients list before buying. I mixed a packet with the recommended amount of water. I took a sip and thought it was nasty. I took a third of the mixture and added an additional 16 oz. of water. It is still nasty. What a waste of money. Oh well! Lesson learned.
