This is a fine powder and includes a desiccant card (calcium chloride to absorb moisture) and a scoop inside the container. The container is less than half full.
I’ve tried and used many colostrum powders and this tastes different with a hint of what I can only be describe as a chemical tropical taste. I take this directly by mouth (not mixed into anything) so the flavor was off for me. Not sure what could cause this flavor but I won’t be using this. Colostrum should taste neutral like dried milk powder (because it is) and slightly salty because it contains less lactose than regular milk.

This is a 60 day supply of prime colostrum. It includes a small 5 gram scoop for ease in dosing. I mixed it into a cup containing about 4oz of water and it took a bit of coaxing with a powered frother to get it fully dissolved. I’d imagine the user to dispense a bit of elbow grease with just a teaspoon, I’m afraid. The result had a cloudy, albeit a pale look to it akin more towards skim than regular whole milk.
It was my first time taking colostrum and I just did not know how it should taste. I half expected this colloid solution to taste in a way that powdered dairy derivatives tend to taste in general. You know, that milky chalkiness attributable to powdered milk, powdered whey, baby formulas, and so forth. But it just tastes like a severely watered down skim milk without the chalky aftertaste. This, while not particularly pleasing, should at least make it an easier and certainly a palatable practice to incorporate it to just about anything the user so desires.
I think it’s also worth noting that while this product doesn’t claim to be processed to be lactose-free, I did not suffer any abdominal pain or untimely trips to the bathroom. This is coming from a severe lactose intolerant. But take this with a grain of salt obviously as the user’s mileage may vary here depending on how much they take at once and their intolerance level.
To conclude, I quite appreciate its ease of use and relative lactose friendliness apart from its obvious health benefits. This particular product is third party tested, made with only grass-fed cows right here in the States. I can’t really seem to find a fault to nitpick here at least for the time being. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommended.

I’ve tried other colostrums in the past and I’ve had mixed results. While I like the flavor of these, sometimes they are too reactive in my gut and disaster pants ensues. However, this powder works really great and I have noticed that my recovery seems to be going very well with my workout routine constantly improving week after week with my workouts increasing certain numbers that I thought were going to be very difficult with the weights. I’m using right now. I think this is a great physical recovery tool, and if you are having trouble recovering faster, you should definitely look into trying something like a colostrum powder, this being a good choice.

I’ve had IBS for a while after taking a lot of antibiotics for an infection I had and my stomach has been upset for quite a while, even after taking probiotics of many types. Colostrum has calmed my stomach and bowels down quite a bit and has improved my overall health. I highly recommend that everyone take this supplement as it’s really a wonder supplement for your health. The power can be a bit clumpy due to the fact that it’s a dairy derived product and has dairy proteins and fats in it, which is normal and not of concern. You just need to use a spoon to stir it into your beverage and you can’t put it into really hot beverages since it will clump up and the heat will affect the product and neutralize the benefits of it, so just Don’t Do that! Once you start taking this for a while you’ll see how much better you feel and this brand is a well made product (I’ve tried a few) and I’m happy with it. My stomach tells me that it’s working well and better than a few others I’ve tried.

The Biofema Colostrum Powder Superfood is collected from pasture raised grass-fed cows and is indeed a high quality product in my opinion. I have been using colostrum as part of my diet for quite some time now and have experienced the benefits that it has brought to my overall health specially for my skin, hair, activity levels and immune system. I always mix colostrum in my protein shake and even though it doesn’t have a taste but it makes my shake more creamier and tastier. This product is made in the USA and provides high value and quality.

The instructions suggest taking this by the spoonful. I’m not that brave. I hide it in cold things. Even ice cream milkshakes. This pure nicely mild clean white powder gives a healthy impression when first opening. My wife and daughter happily enjoy this in plain room temperature water and it blends easily for them. I’m not as brave as the women in my family. I add it to smoothies and my fruity yogurt. I do not take this with coffee for fear of harming the bio available benefits. This I think is a great way to bump up the healthy daily intake of essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals needed to keep our bodies both alive and if we are lucky the elements we need to rebuild. With Colostrum we are confident we are filling a supplement gap that plain vitamins do not address.
