I read that marine collagen can be nicer, so wanted to give this a try. In the past, I have tried other collagen supplements (a drink powder) and it has caused me to break out. I was a bit worried with this product that I would have the same result, but I have not so yay!
I do think having to take 7 capsules a day is a little bit excessive and wish there was an alternative as I have difficulty with that. I end up taking more like 4 a day which is fine for me because it means the supply lasts longer. There is no fishy taste either so that is very nice.

I have taken a few of them and so far no negative response. This is saying a bunch coming from a person with over fourty food allergies. Way to often even vitamins can leave me sick feeling.
I also have osteoporosis and arthritis; it has been suggested to me that I try taking collagen to help my joints. But when your allergic to beef and salmon, finding safe collagen is a challenge. When my wife and I discovered Zen Principle’s Marine Collagen that is made from Cod, Pollock, and Haddock we were delighted and hopeful.
As I mentioned I have only taken a few, but so far so good! Due to everything I already take daily, I do not believe I will ever be able to take the recommended dose of seven capsules a day. If I get two or three in I will be happy. I am guessing it will take months before any changes are noticed. The bottle I received has an expiration date of August 2027, so they seem to have a long shelf life.
I have only one small complaint and that is the size of the capsules. They are on the larger size, measuring nearly an inch long and a quarter inch wide. Definitely not the biggest capsule I have had to swallow, but probably the biggest I have currently. I can handle them, I just wanted others to know their size in case its an issue for you.

I feel like taking 7 capsules a day is a bit much. Seems to contain good ingredients, but I haven’t felt any changes nor side effects.

On the bright side, taking these did not cause any adverse effects. Sometimes with fish-type pills they can cause some pretty nasty flavors to come up later. Didn’t experience with these, though took with food, so maybe that did it.
My guff is, the daily recommended dosage is 7 PILLS. And they’re not small. I’m sorry, but I’m not taking 7 gigantic pills every day.
If you don’t mind taking pills, go for it.

I selected this collagen supplement because it mentioned that it was wild caught fish. So that to me indicates that the quality might be higher. I do find the Seven Tablets for the dosage to be a bit High, but I am aware that when you take another collagen supplement in powder form the dosage is usually at least a teaspoon to a tablespoon, depending on the collagen powder you choose.
I would imagine that this product is potentially designed for people who want to take a collagen supplement on the go and don’t want to fuss with mixing collagen powder into a beverage. For that reason and for the reason that it is wild caught fish I would recommend this product for the quality and for people on the go that don’t have time to mess with a collagen powder.

I have been taking these for about 3 weeks, and have seen a difference in my daily strength and hair. There is no weird aftertaste and they are easy to swallow.
