I really like this. I’m very pleased with it. It is working well for me. I don’t think it’s a value for the money. It’s quite expensive. But it dissolves well and it has a good taste and it is easy to use. I like to mix it in my drinks and I’m experimenting with different ways to put this in. So far I have done smoothies and in with water and I’ve been pleased with both kinds.

Berry Gen collagen peptide powder with antioxidants is in a well-sealed fuchsia colored 9.1 oz. resealable pouch. 1 small scoop is buried somewhere in the powder which you get to fish for before you can use the product. Collagen peptides have been known to help in healthier nails, skin and joints while the berries (Blueberry & Blackberry) are a wonderful source full of antioxidants to protect cells, to help reduce inflammation, improve blood flow, remove toxins including helping to reduce artery buildup. Package directions for use are 1 scoop (although online stated 2 scoops) and mix with your choice of water, hot or cold beverage, protein smoothie, yogurt, oatmeal or baking. There are 38 servings per package, 6200mg of hydrolyzed collagen peptides (bovine), Blueberry fruit extract 100mg, Blackberry fruit 100mg with natural blueberry flavor, citric acid and sucralose. The powder is Made in USA, GMP quality. Lot #134450, exp. date11/26 is on the bottom of the package.
I did find the pouch is very difficult to get open, tear tabs didn’t work so I had to resort to cutting the top off above the Ziploc portion. Resealing the pouch is very easy but getting it reopened is not fun at all and takes several attempts. So far, I haven’t managed to sling powder all over but I’m sure it will happen.
I initially tried using this powder with my protein shakes which definitely didn’t sit well. The products were well mixed in the shaker bottle with no chalkiness or clumps but I ended up with a very bowling ball feeling in my stomach that lasted for several hours and not having much of an appetite until around 8pm each time I’ve tried to drink it this way. I finally decided to try mixing it with water instead, I used 10 oz. of refrigerated filtered water (packaging doesn’t give a suggested ratio to use). Again, the product dissolved well with no slimy texture, chunks, etc. and I had no issues at all or feeling like I swallowed a bowling ball in my stomach so this is now how I ingest the collagen.
The berry flavor is slight so that you can minutely taste the collagen and not overwhelming with no bitter or weird aftertaste either which I greatly appreciate along with being made in the USA but for $60 I think it’s too expensive for what you get.

This product seems really overpriced, and it simply doesn’t taste good. I’ve been able to kind of mask the flavor with other things to make it palatable, but I definitely wouldn’t buy it again. I would look elsewhere for a less expensive and better tasting alternative. I’m sure there are far better options out there.

The top was a little difficult to tear for me so I just cut it. It came alreasy zipped, and it’s probably the most difficult lock like this that I’ve ever opened. No worries about it staying sealed!
It comes with a scoop and there are 38 servings in the pouch.
I can find no expiration date on the pouch.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and Made in USA. This has GMP-certified and Made in the USA. But I get stuck when trying to verify those things. The first day when I called the number on the pouch the call immediately disconnected every time. The next day when I tried someone answered but they spoke Spanish; they might have said “Berry Gen” though. The distributor, Sell 2 Help, I can’t find anywhere. The berrygen site works but has no contact information except for the online form, and I can’t find them at the address at the bottom of their page.
I’ll go with the person on the phone saying “Berry Gen,” but they need to have a way to contact the company and verify the claims and I would add a star.
My biggest issue though is with the sucralose. Any health company that adds that loses face in my opinion. They either haven’t read the research or just don’t care. And for that I’ll have to take a star back.

Overall, this Berry Gen Collagen Peptides Powder with Antioxidants is quite expensive for the amount of product you get, and the taste is not ideal, so I might consider other options that better mask the collagen flavor.
Flavor and taste: The berry flavor is pleasant, but there is a noticeable gelatin-like taste from the collagen. It is not overly bothersome but still detectable when I mix one scoop with 8 oz of cold water. The packaging suggests adding it to smoothies, which might help mask the collagen flavor further.
Scoop and packaging: The product includes a scoop, but I had difficulty finding it initially as it was submerged in the powder. This was a minor inconvenience. The container does have a seal to ensure the product is new.
Serving and ingredients: The 260-gram package contains 38 servings, with each serving providing at least 6 grams of hydrolyzed collagen peptides. There are no added sugars, and sucralose is used as the artificial sweetener.

Going based on the label (since I can’t independently verify the ingredients), this product offers a good amount of collagen peptides and antioxidants which may offer some health benefits. I’ve seen some complaints about the sucralose, and yes, it would be nice to note that in the description prior to sale, but there are worse sugar substitutes out there. It dissolves well and has a decent taste.
