Tart cherry is so good for you. It’s super antioxidant rich. It tastes really good as well. The only issue I have with this powder is that it really doesn’t mix well into the water. It just doesn’t really dissolve into the water well and tends to stick to the sides of the glass. I keep stirring it to try to make sure I’m getting as much of the product as possible and not wasting it.

The Biophix Tart Cherry organic powder is a decent supplement powder, but the “Tart Cherry” taste wasn’t there for me. Using only 6 oz of water, I didn’t expect such blandness from the product. However, this powder makes a great addition to smoothies, drinks, and I actually tried it in a muffin mix and it worked well. The container has an external shrink-wrapped seal, but I was disappointed to see that once the cap was removed, there was no seal on the actual container. Since I’m food safety conscience, that gave me a bit of concern.

I have been mixing tart cherry powder or juice into my nightly “help me sleep” drink for years. Now I’m mixing in one scoop of this Biophix Tart Cherry Powder, and I find it a very cost effective substitute. The taste is fine and if its reducing inflammation then great! All I know if that it helps with my sleep.

This is a great way to get my tart cherry intake when actual fresh tart cherries aren’t available and still benefit from the antioxidants. It has a light tart cherry flavor, was easy to add/mix and doesn’t have added sugars which is a definite plus.

I love tart cherries and I grew up surrounded by tart cherry trees, so I actually know what the raw fruit is supposed to taste like. The fruit are pretty tart, even when very ripe. You can buy unsweetened tart cherry juice to get a good idea of what it’s supposed to taste like. This is not it. There is a faint taste of tart cherries, the product is definitely not tart enough and even the color should be a lot more red rather than pink. It’s almost like it’s been diluted with something. I know tart cherries can be expensive, so for this very high price I expect pure, unadulterated powder. I am very careful about supplements and this looked like a legit American company, so that’s why I decided to try it. I do love the fact that they are organic. The container was sealed properly, which seems to be an issue for other people. I tried it by itself and also added it to a tea, but it did not dissolve easily. It kinda stuck to the teaspoon and I had to mix for a long time. I will give it a try in my tart cherry pound cake, to achieve a marbling effect and I bet that will look nice and add some extra flavor.

I like this product as it is an easy, convenient way to get some tart cherry into my diet by Biophix. My only issue is that cherry doesn’t fit into everything like chocolate does, so this has to be mixed into things like tea, smoothies, or juices. I wouldn’t throw this in a protein shake as it might change the flavor too much.
I appreciate that this product has no added sugar, so I don’t feel bad adding it to drinks. Biophix Tart Cherry is organic, which is always a positive. I also like how they listed the allergens it is free from. The bottle contains 175 servings, which is a good value for the cost.
