My powder came light brown and became gelatinous when mixed with water. It’s a bit challenging to mix with water, though.
My solution is to use a high-speed blender (I use Ninja individual cups) to blend it thoroughly, or I mix one teaspoon in a regular 24 oz water bottle and leave it overnight in the fridge. It absorbs the water and turns into a drinkable, gelatinous solution. Great product, I will purchase it again.

I bought this for constipation. It works quicker and much better than Miralax, fiber drinks, etc. It cleans you out by just making it slippery. Slides right out! It is not pleasant tasting. I tried mixing it with other stuff. Still gross. So I drink it like a shot 🥃 of whiskey. I don’t think the package says it – take 2 hours before or after meds. It coats your insides and can interfere with medication absorbtion

I purchased thus product, it says it is slippery elm powder, slippery elm powder is suppose to be an herb that helps coat and heal the digective tract , avery good herb , it is grayish in color with a mild taste and very soothing and healing to the whole digestive tract. Thus product is not the normal slippery elm powder , i purchased it for it’s better pricing and when received open the package and noticed it to be very dark in color a strong smell reminded me of coffee somewhat i just trusted and put it in my glass of water like u would do with normal slippery elm powder, this product struck to the cup, i could not not harley scrap it out for it sticking ,but i contined to trust, drinking it was a horrible taste and when digested hurt so bad , made me very sick , change my whole gut . Anyone reading this reveiw make sure when purchaseing slippery elm that it is grayish in color mild smell and taste . Seriously amazon should consider checking these people out to see what it is they r actully selling, i hate i did nit trust wisdom when i first saw it smelled it and tasted it before swallowing it , the two days i did take of it ,i was in alot pain and weakness .

Even though this is mainly the outer bark it is easier to mix into a tea and has a woody taste. May take a tablespoon to work well
