I have taken grape seed extract before and drink green tea and related products and I have found that they have been a beneficial addition to my nutrition. This formula from Piping Rock adds pine bark extract to the grape seed and green tea extracts in these capsules. Before I add any vitamins and supplements to my diet I talk with my doctor and review the sources of the ingredients and the recommended doses. For example, too much of any vitamin or mineral, such as D3 or iron, could be harmful. So I can’t emphasize strongly enough that you research these ingredients and talk with your own health professional. Bear in mind that the FDA does not approve or recommended most supplements.
After confirming that this formula may be worth trying, why would you want to use these Pipring Rock capsules. For me, there are two things that weigh in its favor. One, the form of the dose is gelatin capsules, by far a better form than hard to swallow tablets and artificially flavored gummies.
Two, the label identifies the company, Piping Rock of New York State, as the maker of these capsules: “Carefully Manufactured by” is, I believe, a better indicator of quality control than products only “distributed by” a company.
My final consideration is that of price. Compared to other formulas that include grape seed extract the price on Amazon is reasonable for the number of capsules. The bottle I received has 180 capsules, which will last 90 days at 2 capsules per day but only 45 days at 4 capsules per day; both are suggested on the label. I will be satisfied with no more than 2 capsules daily.

This supplement contains grape seed, green tea extract and pine bark. It is kind of an unusual combination and the vendor doesn’t explain why they are good together, which is a bit of a missed opportunity. All 3 of these ingredients contain polyphenols and proanthocyanidins, which may contain anti-inflammatory, metabolism-regulating, and anti-aging properties, as well as supply antioxidants. I like that the ingredients are all natural and I love the little energy boost, as well as its affordability. I do hope that Piping Rock comes back to edit the product listing page to describe some of the benefits of this supplement and persuade buyers to try it.
The recommended dose is 2 capsules a day. There are 180 capsules inside each bottle, which makes it a very affordable 3-month supply. I take 2 capsules a day with breakfast to take advantage of the green tea extract energy boost and find it is a great, healthy way to start off my day! The capsules are odorless and tasteless. They are easy to swallow and have not caused any stomach upset. Give them a try!
