While I regularly have chamomile tea, this is the first time I’ve tried chamomile as a capsule. I’m pleased with the results. I use chamomile to help with stomach upsets, and find it to be almost as effective as ginger but far less apt to trigger heartburn. While the capsules don’t have the taste appeal of the tea, they are far more convenient to use.
The capsules are medium size (about the size of an extra strength Tylenol) and easy to swallow. The suggested dosage is 2 caps per day, preferably with a meal. For me, a single cap taken after I eat works well. There are other benefits to chamomile including being an aid for relaxation/anxiety relief which may require a 2 cap dose.
The price is reasonable for a bottle of 200 caps, and it has a good shelf life — the bottle I received in October 2022 has an expiration date of June 2025.

I used to drink chamomile tea before going to sleep but for an unknown reason it was hurting my stomach so this pills are great

I have had no issues taking this herbal supplement so far. I do have problems with some brands due to intolerances and allergies, but this one has been fine for me. I cannot say yet if it is doing any good for me as I have not used it a lot yet, but it seems to help. I got them in case I felt like I needed chamomile before bed but it was too late to fix tea. Unless I run into problems with them later, I would use them again.

Isn’t this a popular tea for the taste and aroma? I like the pills but it’s taking away from the experience not sure who this is aimed at? Had no issues but cannot recommend over the tea.

Traditionally, chamomile has been associated with relaxation and helping people sleep. There is some evidence it might help with that. If you aren’t into the tea, or just prefer taking pills, this is a good option.
Chamomile is a source of the nutrient apigenin. This is a powerful supplement that may have anti-aging properties. Many chamomile extracts contain about 1% of it. While this extract doesn’t specify, if it is the case, this supplement would provide a little over a milligram of it per pill. This isn’t a lot, so if you’re taking this to get higher amounts of apigenin, I suggest looking elsewhere.
Piping Rock is a good brand, and I believe was started by the owners of Puritan’s Pride after the company was sold. They claim third-party testing and significant quality control.

If you enjoy chamomile tea but don’t have time to brew a cup these may be a good option. They are very calming to the soul and these capsules are small enough that they are easy-to-swallow. Each capsule has 550 mg German Chamomile Flower. I am not a doctor, nor is this medical advice but I find these help me relax. Please consult with your doctor before taking natural supplements.
