This works well for what it is meant to produce. 🤭 Works quickly and I didn’t to wait long or have it work to good/much, just enough . Way to go 👏.

Most laxatives I’ve taken cause a lot of cramping. I haven’t had that happen using Phillip’s.

The size of the pill along with its chalky sharp edge makes it hard to swallow. I need to take more than one to have an effect. Went back to a different brand that was one tiny pill and effective results

These capsules actually work. I only used three of them and they worked without giving me watery stools.

I’ve tried a few different laxatives over the years, but these Caplets have definitely become my go-to! These little caplets are magic for anyone needing gentle relief. Unlike some other laxatives I’ve tried that felt way too harsh or had me running to the bathroom every five minutes, these are super gentle and get the job done without any drama.
One of the things I love most is that they’re made with naturally sourced magnesium. It feels better knowing I’m putting something more natural into my body. Plus, the caplets are easy to swallow and don’t have any weird aftertaste, which is a huge plus. 🌿
Compared to other laxatives I’ve used, like the stimulant ones that can be a bit too much for my sensitive stomach, Phillips’ caplets provide a much more comfortable experience. It’s like they work with my body instead of against it.
If you’re looking for a reliable, gentle solution for occasional constipation, these caplets are definitely worth a try. I’m super happy with them and they’ve made a noticeable difference in my comfort and routine. 😊

If you have–or know someone who has–trouble with constipation caused by anesthesia/surgery and/or medication (pain killers, ADD meds, or any of the other prescription meds that bind people up, especially after surgery), I would *strongly* recommend giving these a try. After my surgery/meds combo, I tried all the standard laxatives and stool softeners recommended by my different doctors, and none of them helped at all. After months of utter misery (and sadly, some serious, permanent internal damage), I happened to see a bottle of Phillips Caplets on a drugstore shelf and, thought, what have I got to lose? It’s just magnesium, after all. But, they worked! They actually worked! (You probably think I sound a little over-excited about this. But let me tell you, unless you’ve experienced the depths of this particular misery, you have no idea what a meaningful miracle it was.) And none of the usual laxative discomfort and cramping, either. In fact, no unpleasant side effects at all. My body just went right back to functioning the way it’s supposed to. I’ve been taking them for years now, usually two a day (because I’m still on two of the dreaded medications and, of course, the internal damage isn’t going to go away, so I have to be particularly careful), and they’ve worked absolutely consistently the whole time.
But lest you think it was just me, let me also say that a few years later, I visited my step-mother and found out that after a bunch of surgery and ongoing medication, she’d been left with the same problem. And nothing the doctors had given her had helped at all. I brought a bottle of Phillips Caplets to her next appointment. The doctor checked the ingredients and said that, at the very least, they wouldn’t hurt her, so she could try them if she wanted to. My step-mother took two that night, and, what do you know? When nothing else had worked at all, the Phillips Caplets worked perfectly.
And then, a year or so later, my mother had surgery. I warned her–oh, did I warn her–but, being a “good patient”, she decided to go along with the doctors’ recommendations for the usual stool softeners, etc. At least she did until four or five days later, when she called me, crying. I ended up tracking down the doctor on call and convincing her to send someone out to the drugstore for a bottle of Phillips Caplets. Once again, they worked like a charm.
You can see why I’ve turned into a bit of an evangelist.
Now, obviously, you’ll need to check with your doctor. (As far as I know, they’re just magnesium, but I don’t know if magnesium has any bad interactions with anything.) But assuming your doctor says they’re okay, I’d strongly recommend you at least give them a try. Regular, healthy people with just a tiny bit of typical constipation can get away with one, or even half of one. But people with anesthesia/surgery- and or medication-induced, ongoing or serious constipation seem to need two, at least to start.
But again, I’m not a doctor, and your mileage may vary, so make sure you ask first. But please do at least ask. (Print this out and bring it with you, so they can at least how Phillips Caplets have helped other people. In my experience they don’t seem to be on doctor’s radar–maybe because they’re an over-the-counter, consumer-type medication.)
Because while constipation may seem like a kind of minor, common problem that should probably resolve on its own–or be something you don’t really want to talk about (my mother and step-mother certainly didn’t, at least not until the problem was solved)–the truth is, ongoing constipation, especially the severe kind brought on by surgery or medication, will not only make you miserable, it can actually make you quite sick. And it left untreated, it can cause internal damage you’ll have to deal with for the rest of your life.
When something as simple as Phillips Caplets works so well, it’s worth having that conversation with your doctor so you can give them a try.
