This works comfortably, but does not have the power my old Norelco did, and takes a light touch to maintain speed. It is particularly difficult at the base of my nostrils. For warranty registration I had to use the website listed for manufacturer contact on Amazon rather than the on the box.

I’ve been using the Philips Norelco Shaver 2400 for a few days now, and it’s been a solid performer. The shaver glides over my skin smoothly, and I’ve had no issues with nicks or irritation, which is a relief considering how sensitive my skin can be. The 4D Flex Heads are a nice touch—they adjust to the contours of my face, making it easy to navigate tricky spots like my jawline and neck. I also appreciate the built-in pop-up trimmer, which is handy for tidying up sideburns and mustaches.
It’s lightweight and easy to handle, and I can get several shaves on a single charge, which is more than enough for me. The cleaning process is simple—just rinse under the faucet after use. While the shave isn’t as close as a traditional razor, it leaves my face feeling fresh and smooth. The fact that it’s so easy to charge via USB is a plus, though I do wish the cord was a bit longer.
For the price, this shaver does a great job and doesn’t break the bank.
TIP: To avoid irritation, use a light touch while shaving, especially on sensitive areas, and make sure to rinse the shaver regularly to keep it performing at its best.

Shaving is always a challenge for me, and while it will be a few more weeks before I’m sure I think I’ve found a shaver that works for me.
I’m a 60 year old male, with skin that is uber sensitive to shaving. I’ve struggled with it my whole life (well the post puberty part!). I’ve tried cartridge razors (from 1 to 6 blades) safety razors, one blade electric razors, foil shavers and rotary shavers like this one. All eventually leave me with razor bumps. I’ve tried growing a beard too, but I end up breaking out from that too. It isn’t visible, but it is still painful.
On to this shaver.
I think I’m having better luck because they have moved away from their ‘lift and cut’ system. This shaver doesn’t shave as closely as others I’ve used, but I can live with that if I don’t get bumps. It is very quiet, light and easy to hold. I have to use a VERY light touch to avoid bumps, but if I do I have good success. I shave slowly, but even so it is quite a bit quicker than a wet shave.
The shaver struggles a bit with the beard on my chin, it takes a couple of passes (again with a very light touch). A more expensive model with a stronger motor would probably be a bit more efficient, and if this continues to work well I might consider an upgrade in the future, but this one gets the job done.
I have the best results using Lectric Shave first (and washing it off after). Occasionally there will be a hair the shaver won’t pick up and I’ll use attached trimmer to get that.
I am glad the shaver will work plugged in. This was a feature that was one reason I selected this model. My experience with electric shavers is despite whatever ‘warning’ system they have they tend to poop out without warning. This one was no exception. The ‘warning’ light didn’t come on until AFTER the shaver stopped. On the plus side I didn’t notice any decline in performance until a few seconds before it died. Because it will work plugged in I was able to finish the shave with no difficulty.
I shave my face, neck (front and back) and the top part of my head every day. I don’t quite get 4 shaves from a full charge (though again I shave very slowly takes me about 10 minutes each time). But 3 full shaves is fine by me.
If you want a BBS shave, this isn’t the device for you, but if you are satisfied with a clean shaven look (no visible stubble at hand shake distance but they’ll feel it if you kiss) and are troubled by bumps, give this a shot. Just remember not to press it harder against the skin to get it to shave closer (it will, but then you’ll get bumps.)

After 40 years of using a blade to shave thought I would try electric. Wish I would have done this sooner. This razor seem to do the job on a daily basis. Shaves plenty close for me, and one charge seems to last for days. I like that you can flip it open and rinse out the whiskers.
I would think this will be much more cost effective than buying disposable razors over time.

I bought a Norelco shaver 30 years ago and it started to get really dull and did not bother to replace the blades. Glad it lasted so long. I replaced it with this Norelco “Philips” about 3 weeks ago and so far so good. For now I am only giving it 4 stars because its fairly new. It gets the job done. I did spend an extra 10 bucks for the outlet charger which is well worth it. That way I can charge it anywhere and take it along if I travel. Anyway for the price and its efficiency, I recommend it, No need to purchase anything more expensive. Thank you for reading my post.

This replaced a 40 year old shaver of the same brand name. I like it. Very close shave, appears to have plenty of power. The cord charges via USB which is no problem for me since I have an adapter already plugged into my wall outlet. Love the price of this shaver. No need to spend a ton of money as this shaver gets it done rather well.

This shaver is well priced, and more than adequate for my needs. Not as close a shave as a traditional razor, but very close.
I have extremely sensitive skin. Having eczema and prone to razor burn and bumps. I’ve used a trimmer for years because it was less irritating to use. My last Norelco shaver was back in the 90’s, the lift and cut technology was kin to a torture device… pulling instead of cutting.
I have an extensive skincare routine, and exfoliate with a salicylic cleanser from CeraVe. My bumps have cleared with this shaver, and I have no more irritation with shaving every other day. Leaving my skin smoother, and with a more even skin tone and surface.

As an older adult, my skin is thin. I kept getting nicks and cuts and scrapes shaving with a triple blade safety razor. I tried this electric shaver. I can happily say I’ve been nick and cut free ever since. Other plusses: I can shave before or after a shower whether my face is dry or wet. It’s easy to clean. Just run it under the faucet. Easy and quick to recharge. Built-in trimmer for side burns. Lightweight. Fits in my hand snugly. Easy to hold. Negatives? Folks with beards heavier than mine might not get as clean a shave as they’d like. It’s not close like a razor but my face looks and feels clean shaven.
