- CHELATED MAGNESIUM – Chelated minerals generally have better absorption. The strong magnesium-glycerophosphate bond allows Mag-GP to survive the stomach acid and move to the small intestine to be absorbed into the bloodstream. The better the absorption, the less GI & stomach distress one will experience. We went for ultra-absorption.

I have no allergies (of any kind). I tried Mag-GP last night and itched for several hours (my first allergic reaction to anything, ever – I now know it is highly unpleasant). I didn’t break out in a rash or in hives (as is reported by several customers online), so I did not go to the hospital.
I fully understand not being able to return the open container of Mag-GP – but – the seller also doesn’t allow returns on unopened (fully sealed) products. So – I’m out of money twice. Another reviewer mentioned gas to an extreme – I quickly learned (last night) the other reviewer was not exaggerating. If you are near other people at any time (in your life – ever) you may want to avoid this product.
No returns (even on fully sealed products) means I will NEVER purchase from this seller again. Perhaps they know their products are horrible – perhaps that is why they won’t accept returns (of any kind – for any reason).
I recommend sticking with established sellers who have built their reputations on quality and on good customer service. PEScience isn’t one of them.

I was having issues with very painful toe cramps until I started taking magnesium supplements. This magnesium powder appears to be high quality and is working very well for me. Not only does it prevent toe cramps, but it also has helped release some muscle tension/stress in my neck, shoulders & back. It is perfect for using after a workout, too, as it will help relieve a lot of the soreness you feel the next day. There are no warnings about drowsiness on the tub, but I think there should be. I am ready to go to bed about 30 minutes after I take this supplement no matter how awake I am beforehand. I take it right before I am ready to go to bed and it does help me stay asleep and get better quality sleep.
I have not experienced any negative side effects from taking this supplement, aside from feeling sleepy afterwards. I feel that the chelated magnesium is more effective and the price point for this powder is good. I only take 1 scoop a day (the recommended dose is 1 – 2 scoops daily) so this is 60 serving sizes. The only issue I have is that the powder is very fine. It flies up in the air and makes a mess unless you are very careful when blending the magnesium powder into your liquid of choice. It dissolves easily in water, juice, or whatever you are drinking, but it does have a weird chemical smell. It doesn’t really have a flavor though, which is great.

I have tried many good magnesium supplements but this one is the holy grail of rest. We stock up on it because we love it so much. I just need half a spoon and I have the best sleep I have had in all my life. Wake up refreshed and energetic. I’ve started to go to the gym at 5am since I wake up so well rested. Just love it.
