Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester CCC+ Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream
I always look for several key ingredients in an eye cream, especially ones that promise to hydrate, help with discoloration, and wrinkles – things like retinol, vitamin C, hydroxy acids, peptides, tea extract, niacinamide (vitamin B), and caffeine. This contains an acid, vitamin C (the really good, stable one), ferulic acid, and a lot of hydrating oils. I really love this eye cream and it is very hydrating.
This serum is like thick milky water and it glides on easily without stinging or drying my skin out. I have super dry skin that is also very sensitive and this works well when applied at night along with a good occlusive cream. This caused no irritation but I did make sure to put on a good layer of sunscreen in the morning. I noticed an immediate brightening and I really think it helps with keeping my skin hydrated which helps plump up fine lines. It is very gentle and no real scent but I can detect the ferulic acid – once you know how that ingredient smells, it sticks with you.
The amber glass bottle comes safety sealed with a plastic cap that audibly clicks when opened – you have to install the pump which comes separately. There is no expiration date but it should be used within 12 months of opening. The container and packaging are fully recyclable and there is 15ml in the bottle. This bottle comes overfilled so be careful when inserting the pump.

To try to lighten my extra dark shadows cannot believe after a week how great it looks. Pricey but worth every penny or dollar to me!

Perricone MD is one of my favorite brands. I have had such positive experiences with their products and the Vitamin C Ester CCC+ Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream was no exception.
I have a dark undereye area. It has been that way for years and has gotten slightly worse with age. Brightening serums do help but I have to keep up with the routine or they just return.
The product has a thin, milky like texture. It’s like a super thin liquid foundation. It applies easily to my undereye area. While it doesn’t fully absorb right away and does leave the area feeling a bit tacky, it doesn’t stay that way for more than a few minutes. I always apply at night before bed and by morning, there is no residue left on my skin.
I didn’t think the product had an offensive or overly strong fragrance. It is mild and medicinal and dissipates rather quickly.
I have been using this product for several weeks and have definitely noticed an improvement. I didn’t notice any results at first but after a few days, my undereye area really did start to look brighter! After several weeks, the darker areas have been greatly diminished!
I am quite pleased with the results and while there are less expensive products on the market, they don’t work as well as this one!

I originally wrote that it made my under eyes puffy but i see now that was in conjunction with my full face sleep apnea mask! but I switched to a nasal mask, and now the puffiness is gone. Although I don’t see a whole lot of difference from the norm.

Didnt work. Waste of money. Would want a refund. Expensive cream. I do not recommend this product to anyone. We are just paying for the name of the product.

* Update – after using almost the whole bottle of this I did not notice any difference in my under eye area. I also noticed milia popping up and had to stop using it. *
The Perricone MD line is a high end brand of cosmeceuticals from the famed Dr. of the same name. Dr. Perricone wrote ‘The Wrinkle Cure’ and offers cutting edge, innovative products designed to improve the skin. So I was happy for the opportunity to try his new eye cream. Especially when I read that it targets the blue, red and brown tones in the skin.
Recently I went to a PA who showed me images of what was under the surface of my skin. Though the PA said I had great skin – I saw a lot of reds and browns in the pictures. These colors denote skin damage from sun etc. And since this cream is designed to fix it under the eye area I’m all in.
This is a small bottle with a cap. Remove the cap and pop the pump head in. Pump a few times and a cream is expelled. Per the instructions I lightly tapped this in my under eye area.
I like that the bottle is dark to protect the Vitamin C and the pump is hygienic. The cream melted into my tissue leaving a slightly tacky area but it felt light and soothing.
Then I put the ingredients list which is on the product page through a cosmetics checker. I was not happy that the product scored a 5 for potential comedogenic ingredients and a 3 for potential fungal acne causing ingredients. It really makes me pause as I’m prone to milia. But I decided to go with it and stop if I see problems.
It’s to early to tell results but I will see what happens over time. And I am really hoping to target those browns, blues and reds to make my eye area look brighter and smoother.
