I have been on protein shakes “prescribed” by weight loss physicians and learned to acquire a taste for them. That was my initial expectation of this shake. This is my new favorite chocolate!!! It is versatile and can be used instead of cocoa powder. You can use it as a traditional shake and it is great. If you need a serious chocolate fix you can put it in a mixer with heavy whipping cream and make some heavenly mousse. This came in handy when we had leftover cake and goodies all over the house from a recent graduation/birthday family cookout. Then I put the leftovers in the freezer (I would have ate it all otherwise). Later… YUP CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM! Then it hit me. I just had ice cream for dinner! With a healthy balance of diet and exercise, this can fit perfectly into your macros. For someone like me that has a sugar addiction and type 2 diabetes, this could be the perfect fit for you. I have been sharing this with those around me that have low carb, keto, and other healthy lifestyle choices. Y’all! I wish I would have taken a picture because it was beautiful… and I ate it. Zero Guilt! Enjoy!

Most of these protein powders are not tasty and leave an awful aftertaste. It’s really hard to read reviews and judge the product for yourself because we all like different things. I just got this yesterday and had my first one today. I mixed it with water (cause I have nothing else) and it really didn’t taste like much except a slight chocolate flavor. Which I liked. It wasn’t all that bad and I didn’t have much aftertaste. But I’m sure it will taste a little better mixed with something else. I’m not really an almond milk fan, so I might try another suggestion in these reviews and mix the powder with sugar free cool whip. I’ll have to see how many net carbs it is though, cause I’m doing strict keto. This was a great afternoon boost and to get a little more protein in for my day.

I have tried the vanilla and the chocolate and I like the vanilla better for my smoothies. The vanilla is not too sweet either. I have found that some of the keto shakes seem really sweet to me since I have been doing keto for like 5 months. I do add a dash of vanilla extract to my shakes tho but I would rather do that than have a protein powder that tastes too artificial vanilla. For reference I found isopure vanilla to be a strong flavor (not bad or anything it just tastes more milky vanilla sweet, only referencing it because its a popular brand). This perfect keto vanilla is really light in flavor. I do think the price point is a bit high as it is not a full month of servings. Like if it had 30 servings at that price point I would def set up an monthly auto-order. I make a smoothie most days
But honestly it seems to agree with me more than other protein powders I have tried so Im gonna keep buying it. I mix it with half almond milk and half coconut milk, cinnamon, vanilla, a scoop of collagen powder and a couple blueberries or mixed berries, chia seeds, sometimes I add some almond butter or some oikos pro vanilla or mixed berry (no sugar) yogut and I like it. I recommend using a blender otherwise it will be lumpy.

I’m on a low carb/keto diet so I was looking for a keto-friendly protein shake for after my workouts. This product was recommended by some blogs so I grabbed it. The flavor is excellent especially combined with almond milk and a dallop of peanut butter or a teaspoon of espresso powder. Quite frankly, I look forward to my post workout shake. It blends well together with my Vitamix and while I can detect the artificial sweetener, it doesn’t detract from its great flavor.
Where I turned sour on it was when I considered the value for what I was getting. I needed a low carb, high protein shake for after my workouts. At 40-something bucks, you get 20 servings of ONLY 15g of protein and 2 net carbs. Comparing that to the Atkins shakes my wife sometimes buys, you get VERY similar macros and sadly, they’re cheaper. THEN, I compared this product to what some would call the “gold standard” of protein powders and saw that for the same price, you get 50% more servings and 10g more protein per serving. For that you sacrifice 1 more gram of carbs. I acknowledge that what I just described does not encompass all use cases, but for me it is a big consideration on whether or not this product is for me.

I really like the taste of this. But as soon as I started drinking it I got a weird stomach pain. I thought it may have been other things that I mix in my coffee but I eliminated each thing until only this was left and I still for immediate a stomach cramping that lasted hours. The ingredients look overall healthy so I’m not sure what the issue is.
