I really wasn’t sure I’d like this or that it would work for me, but this was such a great surprise! I have normal-to-dry skin, so exfoliation is important. Unfortunately, I’m not the best at keeping up with it. However, this serum is simple to use and pretty quick, plus you can see the dead skin and impurities pilling up as you use it (instant gratification!), so I think I will use this more regularly! It did a great job of refreshing my face, without being too harsh on the more sensitive areas around my nose and mouth. I experienced no redness, discomfort or irritation. My face was left SO soft and smooth! It looked healthier and my makeup applied better! It’s rare that you find a product that delivers visible results on the first use, but this one does! It was so rewarding!
Be careful you don’t overdo it! While I found this serum to be gentle, you can absolutely over-exfoliate, and I don’t think this product is something that should be used daily. While it doesn’t say how often to use it, 2-3 times a week is probably enough, depending on your skin type and other product use. Also, make sure you’re using this on CLEAN, DRY skin! I noticed some people reviewing this had used it on wet skin, when the instructions state to apply to DRY skin. I’d hate for people to think it wasn’t working or have reduced results because the product wasn’t used as intended! Instructions are there for a reason. 🙂

I do chemical peels from time to time but thought that this Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot might be good when I needed something less extreme.
I am so glad I ordered this. I can hardly believe it works so well. It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper.
On my initial use, I washed my face twice and left my skin a little damp. I used a drop of the exfoliant on each cheek, forehead and chin. The cream rubbed on smooth but as I began to rub more, I noticed small beads or pills forming. I wasn’t sure if the beads/pills was just the exfoliant’s reaction to the water or if it was actual loose skin being sloughed off. As I finished, there were many of the little beads/pills all over my face.
I rinsed my face and repeated the process again just to see if the beads/pills would form again, but there were barely any this time. So, I was like, “Humm, this Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot really does remove dead skin and debris!” My skin looked so much brighter and glowing.
I’ve used the exfoliation 3 times since then and every time, I am amazed. I get an awesome exfoliation treatment without the worry of chemical burns and downtime and the results are great.
As long as it’s available, I will always have a bottle of this Dr. Melaxin Peel Shot.

I love how this exfoliating face scrub works. I use 2 droppers worth of liquid and rub it in to wet freshly washed skin, once it’s all over, I start to use my finger tips, adding a little more pressure. You start to feel little granules, like dead skin is being rubbed off, it sure if this is actually dead skin or something reacts with the liquid, but I love the feeling. I noticed there is more dead skin coming off around my nose area.
My skin is youthful, pores are minimized and skin looks overall clearer and brighter. I use it everyday, hope that’s not too much, but I’m really liking this product.

I genuinely didn’t think I’d like this product nearly as much. I wound up using it on my arms too & it worked great. I love any kind of quick & easy treatment (that’s effective) & this takes the cake for me. I washed my face, patted it dry, applied a few drops to my face, neck, and chest. It feels like it sinks in/kind of “absorbs” fast & you just gently rub/massage your skin to bead up/roll off whatever product/dead skin revealing much softer skin! My skin felt great after using this, plumped & soft. I thought my skincare & makeup applied much better after using as well.
My pores can get a bit clogged & there’s been an improvement there as well. I have somewhat sensitive, combination skin that does require exfoliation but it can be easy to accidentally overdo it & cause irritation & that was not an issue whatsoever with this product. That’s a first for me!
I do wish that they clarified how often this can be used. I also found the side of the packaging a bit confusing (pictured). At first I thought it was trying (and failing) to refer to how long you should leave it on, but maybe it’s just trying to highlight different ingredients? Normally, that kind of thing is a bit of a red flag for me, but because I like this & have used it multiple times now- I wont hold it against them in this case!

This is an exfoliating rice ampoule that comes in a clear tall bottle. It has a dropper which I found hard to use to pull up an adequate amount of the liquid; I also didn’t know exactly what a “proper amount” meant, I may have overcompensated but like I said, I had difficulty getting it out of the bottle.
On my skin, I could feel the exfoliating grains and rubbed it into my skin quite vigorously. Not sure how long it is intended to stay on my face or how long I should be massaging my face. I concentrated around and on my nose because I have larger pores there and that area of my face often gets neglected care.
Afterwards my cheeks felt super smooth but I did not notice any other immediate changes afterwards. I expect continued use may give more noticeable results.

I like that it’s not gritty it’s just a serum but after you work it in you actually feel the dead skin rolling off it’s great. The only thing is I think I got a damaged dropper because I have to squeeze a few times to get product out.
