This product is amazing, I have had Tinea Vericolor for most of my life, I managed it with fungal ointment, but it always come back. I bought this product and I used it for five days in a row, and it is totally cleared up! I now use it once a week and I have not had any recurrence at all. The only downsize that it has a slight odor, nothing that cannot be tolerated though. I am make sure I scrub it into my skin and leave it on for about three or four minutes. I’m impressed! Great product.

This past summer I’d done quite a bit of exercising and work around the house (building decks in sweltering heat, etc) and it was the first time I’d ever gotten a heat rash at all. Kept getting them every couple of weeks, and eventually when none of the cortisone cream worked to fully remove it for any great length of time, the fourth time I got a heat rash it developed into something else. I didn’t know if it was a jock itch type fungal rash or a yeast infection on the skin, but it was getting red and scaly and was burning rather than itching, and being in my hip flexor area rather than the groin area, it was an odd place to have gotten it. As usual I Googled the hell out of whatever rash it could be, and something was mentioned somewhere about something similar to this. So when I came to Amazon and searched that product, this one came up in the search results as well, and had many more happy reviewers and more 5 star ratings. After reading of all the success others had, I ordered it, and used it just as the directions state on the bottle. You can feel the tingling sensation when you wash the affected area with it, and just for future reference, the less it tingles, the more your infection/rash is going away. Immediately after using it I had some relief from the burning heat it was throwing off, and literally within 3 days, it was as if the rash had nearly disappeared. Some have said it smells badly, but I think it smells great. Almost like a Vicks type smell, only with more of an earthy scent than a menthol one. Three washes, it was almost totally gone. Once it was gone for good, I would use the soap on the same area every few showers or so, just to keep it in check. Once the summer was over, I didn’t need to use it anymore, but now I know what I’ll be using from now on through each and every summer to prevent them from happening. DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! It truly is like watching a magic trick happen, that’s how fast and drastic the healing was.

This soap gets rid of stink. Just no other way to say it… Feet, groin, armpits, wherever: if you’ve been sweating more that usual, and have a tough time getting rid of a funk, this will do it.
I especially like it for feet. Most of us have been in a position where our feet and shoes begin to smell. It could be due to shoes with no socks, sweaty workouts, or any number of things. To get rid of the odor is a three step process.
Step 1: Eliminate odor from the offending shoes
I’ve found Gold Bond to be effective here (it both masks odor and absorbs moisture to dry the shoe, and moisture is the enemy). Take out the insoles, and sprinkle Gold Bond generously into the shoes and all over both sides of the insoles, then leave them to sit overnight (or longer). In the morning, shake the extra powder out and re-insert the insoles. I do all of this in the tub, so that I can just rinse the excess powder.
Step 2: Eliminate odor from your feet
If you put those shoes back on now, you’ll just stink them up again in a couple of days, and all that work will be for naught. At this point, you need to make sure you’re putting clean, bacteria-free feet into those fresh, dry shoes. This is where the Funga Soap comes in. Wash your feet (one at a time if you have to), and really let the soap soak in for at least 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly, dry thoroughly, per the instructions. Now you have odor free feet and shoes, so….
Step 3: Keep the stink away

That’s all there is to it! The inserts will need to be changed out every 3-5 months, but occasional use of the Funga Soap (a bottle lasts a long time) will keep your feet clean in the interim, and when you wear sandals.

I am currently in the process of trying this and other brands of Tea Tree soaps to combat low-grade skin ailments.
PROS & CONS: FungaSoap doesn’t lather well compared to typical (non-medicated) soaps so I use more and the bottle goes somewhat fast, but that is to be expected. It’s priority is to disinfect, not lather. The typical soap’s priority is to lather great and smell pretty, but your body pays the price by absorbing FrankenChemicals that may or may not be turning us into flesh eating zombies. FungaSoap is all natural and expensive. Skin feels clingy/sticky when wet, but this is due to the high amount of beneficial oils in the product and the stickiness completely fades as soon as your skin air dries after toweling off and it leaves my skin more moisturized than typical soaps. I am noticing an improvement in my skin, albeit slowly. My SAD diet is poor, so it’s my fault that I need a medicated soap in the first place, right? Right. I like the Tea Tree smell. My roommate does NOT, but so what? He complains about everything. He likes complaining more than he dislikes the Tea Tree scent of FungaSoap, so there you go. The scent doesn’t last too long, so it’s not as if you’re going to smell “medicated” all day. Be aware that some people won’t like the scent when you are fresh out of the shower. How important is that to you?
Overall, I like this product. Wish it weren’t so expensive. Meanwhile, I am working on improving the diet. We all know how difficult that can be. I am trying other products to find the one that has the best benefits/cost ratio.
