These do not stay cold for more than 10 minutes. I went through 3 of them during a kids baseball game, trying to help an injured player. I followed the directions exactly. Very disappointing product.

2 worked great – got cold quickly and stayed cold. The 3rd one I used didn’t get cold at all despite using it correctly.

These instant ice packs are a little smaller than others I have had before. I should have paid more attention to the size in the description of the item. But the bigger issue is that they don’t get nearly cold enough or last long enough. I will probably order a different brand when these run out.

I have these for my first aid kit I keep in my car they are easy to use are very cold and last a long time compact for kit but great size when needed

Have a couple big hiking trips coming up and wanted to make a small portable first aid kit to have on the trails with us. I much prefer the fancy cloth like packing of higher end instant packs vs the crinkly plastic packing of this product but this had the best dimensions to fit in the available space for me. Came in a shipping envelope but all packs intact and unactivated. Have not had to use yet so can’t comment on function.

I bought these thinking my knee would act up with all the walking I would do on my Portugal trip. I didn’t use them but one of the others in the group fell & I gave him some. They worked but his wife said she needed to stomp on it to get it to release

After reading the reviews of this product I was unsure about it…I finally ordered the cold packs and was very surprised…Knowing there are a ton of cold packs out there…I found these to be great performers…FOLLOW the instructions correctly and they are perfect for what they are made for. They DO get very cold and last as long as stated…At the price and the way perform; they are a great deal…I will buy these again.

So we do a LOT of summer desert hiking in the Sonoran desert. We do both Search and Rescue (SAR) and recreational stuff. We recently did a Rim to Rim hike in 100+ temps in the Grand Canyon (just over 24 miles with nearly 6000 feet elevation down and just over 4000 feet up) and we took these bad boys with us. We encountered SO many hikers in distress and used these and they were great! Instant relief and a real game changer. They are instantly cold (like ice) and lasted about 15-20 minutes in 105 F temps outside. They are HARD to break open (we had to stomp on them). This was ideal for us though as they lived in the tops of our 40 lb backpacks and got beat up. They didn’t break or activate until we stomped on them so that was perfect. They are a little on the heavy side for backpacking, but given they tipped the balance for people tipping into heat exhaustion and kept them from going into heat stroke? Heck yeah these are WELL worth it. Highly recommend.

would recommend for sturdiness and ease of use but only if you are aware that this would not serve purpose of cooling to reduce pain ( post injury other than light sprain
