This is the most perfect set for seasonal issues. Dehumidifier is wonderful it works so well. I love the contactless thermometer, I have tested the thermometer against other thermometers to see the accuracy and it is spot on and it’s fantastic to use when you have a sick child and don’t want to wake them up I highly recommend this thermometer. And can we talk about the vapor rub amazing use it on the bottom of your feet put it on your chest put a little bit near the humidifier to give you some vapor air stuff is fabulous you never can go wrong with vapor rub.
A Picky Engineer –
This is a cute little set that might make a decent little ‘get well soon’ gift for someone with an upper respiratory issue. The Theracare humidifier is a little smaller than many others, but can really crank out the vapor (I initially placed it on the floor next to my current humidifier and came back to find the carpet pretty soaked…and this is in an area with <30% humidity). I ended up placing it on a shelf and switching it to the lower setting with much better results and a decent humidity flow throughout the night. The smaller size humidifier does have the pretty common issues with refilling (the tank must be removed, flipped upside-down, opened, then filled) leaving lots of opportunities for water to end up where you don't want it, but it does work.
The thermometer is nice as well. It’s fast, seems accurate, and possibly best of all, the loud beep during use can be turned off! It includes a couple of batteries, so it’s quickly up and ready to go out of the box.
The ‘Chest rub’ is a made-in-India copy of the well known version of VapoRub (interestingly, the well-known brand is also made in India among other countries). I don’t have a lot to go on for comparison, but it seems decent enough.
So at the $58 this set currently costs, it’s a little less than I’m quickly seeing at a glance for the items included. So it’s not a bad deal if you need everything included, otherwise going piece-by-piece to get exactly which parts you need might be more cost effective.
A Picky Engineer –
We’ve had two kids in daycare and this kit should just be handed out on the first day. The thermometer works great and is a truly no contact measurement. It has quite a few settings so make sure to read the manual.
The humidifier isn’t the best one we’ve had, but it works. It’s built a little cheaply but it’s small enough to be considered portable. The most important thing for these is that they’re easy to clean and this one is in fact easy to clean. There are minimal nooks and crannies and the ones that it has are big enough to get your fingers into to wipe clean. These things basically have to be cleaned weeks and emptied daily so they don’t grow mildew so that’s a critical feature. I did not have the leaking reservoir issues that others have been reporting. Good luck out there people!

An essential kit every household should have.
The thermometer works in 3 different surfaces. Not only for skin. I’ve tried on food and I’m in shock how cool and versatile is.
The chest rub smells so good just like the other brands.
The humidifier is ok easy to use but runs out of water quickly compared to another one I have. I can’t let it run all night.

I was ultimately disappointed with this. I loved that this came as a whole gift set. No problem with the thermometer or chest rub. Despite its sleek design, the humidifier lacked the power to effectively humidify larger rooms, leaving dry air issues unresolved. Additionally, the unit was prone to frequent leaks and malfunctions, resulting in a frustrating user experience.

Made a huge water mess all across my hardwood floor making it very slippery and dangerous. This was not because of it leaking but because the mist just laid across the floor like a fog machine would. Not very happy at all with this humidifier.
