I LOVED the old version of these and nothing compares when you’re sick, but they stopped making them and came out with this new version: the texture is now grainy and not enjoyable to suck on. The old ones were so smooth and glossy, and I feel like that experience was kinda soothing in and of itself. I’ll use these and still like the flavor, but I don’t really enjoy sucking on them.

These lozenges have a nice taste and seem to contain the right amount of honey, making them not too sweet. And I like that they are not minty or menthol-y. They provide decent mouth moisture, but due to their cost of about 40 cents per lozenge, I will not use them routinely. The lozenges are each wrapped in a twist-off wrapper, similar to that of hard candy, which is fine. But, the lozenge boxes are pretty flimsy and were not taped at either end, nor shrink-wrapped, so upon arrival, both lozenge boxes were crushed and the lozenges were on the loose in Amazon’s lightly-bubble-lined mailing envelope.

When you’re not feeling great and need that nice throat coat…. this product tastes & soothes so nice!! My family went through a box when we had a cold with a tickle in our throat. It was so nice to have on hand. So I ordered a 2nd box so we’re ready the next time we need it. Love the taste and texture. A little expensive for the amount you receive in the package, wish it had more inside.
