It works very well; my one concern is, where does the pancreatin come from? I’m vegetarian and concerned about ingredient sources. Due to the great results and getting more capsules per container, I’m switching to P-A-L Plus. I don’t need very much each day, but I get great benefits: a lot of energy, feel great, and no more digestive upsets. This product is a life saver, as other reviewers have said. Very good product. I tried three different brands before but I needed enzymes with higher units and with pancreatic enzymes. I have IBS. I couldn’t eat anything, everything used to hurt my stomach. I don’t use this product everday – only as needed. Manufacturing date was almost 3 years ago when received product. While it has not yet technically expired, for the cost of this product I am NOT pleased with receiving OLD stock. I used to think this was one of the best digestive enzyme products avail but will probably not buy again. I understand how difficult a balance it is to move product BUT, after 2 years, the price should have been dropped by half. This product cannot be returned or I would have returned it and asked for a refund.
