The best quality 5-HTP I have found. Makes a huge difference in mental outlook. No need for SSRI’s or SSNRI’s for mild to moderate depression when using this product.
Beware. Many other brands are fake in my opinion.

I had tried Jarrow’s 5-HTP and noticed nothing. I had given up using 5-HTP until my doctor placed me on two products made by this company. The effect they had on me, made me look closer at their other products. I read a review by someone stating that she had almost given up on 5-HTP until this brand. For me I notice an all round improvement in my mood. I’m less angry and more positive. Its definitely helping my serotonin levels.

I rarely write reviews. THIS PRODUCT CHANGED MY LIFE! I have tried everything under the sun for sleeping issues, severe sleeping issues. From melatonin to strong pharmaceuticals, combinations of both, prescriptions meds etc. Some prescriptions helped a lot but who wants to get hooked on those? This product takes some time to work but when it finally does, its a miracle. I now sleep 6-7 hours a night straight. I sometimes take melatonin with it an hour before bed but it really has a wonderful calming effect. I am so happy I found this and want to share with anyone else experiencing severe sleeping problems!

I’ve tried just about every brand of 5-HTP out there, the two best and most effective brands are orthomolecular products and naitrol (naitrol 5-HTP is sold in Walgreens and is a little cheaper). Honestly, I wouldn’t even bother with other brands at this point as the quality of the 5-HTP matters more than most supplements, and many of the other brands just dont work at all.
So, this brand, orthomolecular products 5-HTP is by far the best on the market. I would rate it’s efficacy at 30% greater than that of naitrol 5-HTP and say that naitrol is the second best brand out there. And I’d say all other brands work so little, it’s not really even worth trying them.
