As a former chiropractor and integrative health care practitioner I became obsessed with omega 3’s for their health benefits close to 10 years ago. But I have always struggled to choke down Omega 3 fish oil supplements, which meant I didn’t often take them. Orlo has solved all the problems of huge honking pills that are hard to swallow, give you fish burps. or have weird textured and tasting liquid, largely because the omega’s are sourced from algae, not fish. Not only that, it’s the first Omega 3 supplement I’ve been able to actually notice a difference with right away–this is comparing them to just about every physician grade omega 3 supplement out there. I have more energy and less brain fog and that’s after only a couple of days taking them. They’re easy to swallow, remember and I love the company’s commitment to sustainability and having a zero carbon footprint. I definitely highly recommend this as your source of an essential nutrient we all need more of!
i also got my 72 year old mom started on them 7 weeks after breaking her pelvis and collar bone. She also has more energy through the day and is rapidly starting to recover after stalling for the beginning part of her journey. I got these to help with my cholesterol and arthritis pain. I have taken the Omega complex so decided to try these. I was not happy when I saw it was only Omega 3. None of the other Omegas in this
My other Omegas did not have a fishy taste, even the gummies. I used to work with Nature’s Bounty and always got some to try when we had them being made. The Omega tasted decent, not the greatest.
I have not had any trouble swallowing these, they are not very big, about the size of some small candies (a little bigger than an M&M).
I don’t know if 30 days will be enough to notice any difference but should know with labs.

I’ve tried fish oil and krill oil, but I much prefer algae Omega 3. Orlo is an excellent product but I’ve found other algae Omega products cheaper. When I feel flush, I always go for Orlo. Nice people and an excellent product.

I’m probably not the best go to for vitamins advice, don’t really take them and I’m kind of a skeptic about the benefits vs cost. But, after taking the ORLO Omega-3 for 30 days I did notice a few subtle things that do have me rethinking my opinions of vitamins. Brain fog did seem to lift about a week into taking. About two weeks in, I did notice a slight change in my mood, subtle but enough to notice. It’s been about three weeks since I finished the 30 day pack and I can sense my mood changing back, brain fog hasn’t returned yet to before levels.
I found the pills easy to swallow, and no real taste/after taste that I noticed. I like the marketing around this brand, if it really is organic, vegan free that is great but also really hard to independently verify. I think might try another Omega-3 and see if I experience the same effects. Really, I think ORLO is on to something, but the refill bottle is gimmicky, just send out the packs.
