This seems to be a good quality Citrulline powder so far.
– Powder mixes well
– No odd aftertaste or ill effects
– Price/Value is good
– Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven’t seen the COA yet)
I haven’t had any problem taking these, but I’m only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I’ll revise my review accordingly.

This seems like a worthwhile product to help with nitric oxide. I read that this is better than taking arginine directly. I’m not sure I’ve noticed much difference. This seems like a good value as you get 100 servings. Some people have noted that it is difficult to dissolve. This seems to be the case if I try to put it in a glass of water, but instead I use a water bottle and give it a few shakes between sips and it stays suspended fairly well. I take blood pressure medication and I do watch my blood pressure daily on a home monitor as this and other nitric oxide boosting supplement can cause blood pressure to get too low if you combine them with blood pressure meds.

This seems to be a decently high quality l-citrulline supplement. I say decently high as this citrulline takes a bit longer to dissolve than others I have tried. There also is a tiny amount per scoop that doesn’t dissolve whatsoever leaving a very small amount of white particles in the bottom of the mixing bottle/cup. The powder doesn’t have any smell. When mixed with water I also didn’t notice any smell or taste. L-citrulline is awesome for the gym as it increases blood flow which is beneficial for more oxygen to muscles and a larger fuller pump. With it I also notice a decent energy boost.
This jar of Healthy Origins brand L-citrulline uses a 3 gram scoop, that is included, for a serving with 100 servings per container. The expiration date is over two years out on the container I received

When this powder is mixed with water it is completely colorless and tasteless. The powder mostly dissolved but there was a little residue left over (see photo). The fact that it is colorless and tasteless means it can be combined into any drink. To test the effects on Nitric Oxide production I used NO indicator strips to test before and a couple of hours after drinking it. The indicator strips originally indicated “Low” and were in the “Optimal” range after using this mix. I sometimes find with a NO supplement it may take a couple of days to notice a difference. If you decide to try it, give it 2-3 days to try it out.
Orchid Noir Legacy –
This is pure L-citrulline and nothing else. Since it’s 100% L-citrulline you won’t get that sour taste like you do when taking it with Malate. It mixes great with no aftertaste which means you’ll probably be more likely to keep taking it.

This 300g jar of L-Citrulline from Healthy Origins arrived to me as shown in the listing here. The jar’s label is very informative which is something I like to see. I also like that the label clearly mentions the source for the L-Citrulline and also where it was packaged. Not many companies bother to put both pieces of information on the label! The L-Citrulline within the jar is manufactured by BioKyowa in the USA. Their trademarked L-Citrulline is, “Fermented”. There is some information out there about this company’s specific type of L-Citrulline, just search in a search engine. This L-Citrulline is the type of L-Citrulline I prefer. It’s consistency is granular, and I find that is dissolves very easily. There is a scoop enclosed within the jar however I suggest weighing powdered supplements as scoops are not a very accurate way of measuring powders. No complaints. The Kyowa brand L-Citrulline is a Citrulline I prefer, and I also like the way Healthy Origins made the label on the jar very thorough with information.

After going through a whole jar of this stuff, I’m pretty pleased with it. I use citrulline in some of my pre-workout mixes, but having the ingredient separate to mix on demand is pretty handy when I don’t want to melt my face with caffeine.
This stuff mixes well. Flavor is not unpleasant, but it does do better mixed with other stuff with actually flavoring. Cost is pretty decent too.

There’s only one ingredient in this supplement. L-Citrulline. That’s it! Absolutely no fillers at all and just goes to show you that there’s no need for preservatives. It’s nicely priced with a whopping 100 servings and made in the USA. It’s hard to beat what Healthy Origins has done here.
