Orien Mugwort Zero Film Cleansing Foam 5.07 fl.oz, 150ml ㅣDaily Makeup Blackhead Removal No pore clogging Korean skincare double cleansing is gentle to use and foams up quickly and easy to remove. I took off a star because the scent is not really pleasant while washing my face. I will use it as the scent goes away once removed. The price is excellent for a huge container that will last for a while. I am not acne prone as I’m in my late sixties but with the ingredients it has it is good for that also. I like the refreshing feel after use and I don’t have to moisturize after use. Removes makeup and washes in one step.

I love mugwort so I was excited to try this. However, it left my skin feeling rather dry and almost like there was a film on my skin. I usually never feel a film on my skin so it’s odd that a wash that claims zero film, would feel like that. If you have oily skin then it might be okay. I have dry, sensitive skin. It didn’t irritate my skin, I just didn’t like the feel of it personally.

The current price is $13.00 which is a good price at least.

I really like this face wash! It has a creamy consistency, almost like a clay mask, and feels different from the standard face washes on the market. It also contains salicylic acid, which is great for my acne-prone skin. I’ve had no issues with irritation, and my skin feels really good after using it. I recommend it, especially since it’s fairly priced at $13. I don’t have much experience with Korean skincare, but this seems to be a great product.

This mugwort cleanser from Orien lathers so well in my hands. I only need a little bit to get it to foam up and put on my face. It has a very earthy smell as it smells very strongly of mugwort. I like how this didn’t strip my skin or make it feel super tight so I think it would be good for all skin types. 🙂

This didn’t leave a film on my face after rinsing it off. It is somewhat too thick for the tube so make sure to apply pressure when dispensing the cleanser. I think it’s a good cleanser overall as it didn’t irritate my skim and didn’t leave a film.

    What am I reviewing?
I am reviewing Orien’s Mugwort Zero Film Cleansing Foam.

    Anticipation.
I eagerly anticipated this selection as the listing suggested several features and benefits that interested me.

    How was this presented?
Within a retail type cardboard box, like what a tube of toothpaste is in, but bigger, measuring 6.75” x 2.875” x 1.875”.

    What’s on the box?
A lot of Korean alphabet and English, in microprint.

    Are there cautions surrounding use?
Yes, there are, for instance, physical conditions and cautions for people with conditions, such as being a diabetic and/or pregnant. The reader can review those independently.

    Are the ingredients posted?
Yes, on the listing and on the box, however, not on the tube.

    What’s inside the box?
Inside was a typical squeeze tube of the “cleansing foam.”

    Measurements of the squeeze tube?
About 6½” tall and having a diameter of about 1.625” at the cap. The tube tapered to a crimp, like a typical tube, where it measured about 2.75”, the edges are somewhat sharp at the crimp.

    Weight of the squeeze tube?
    About (6½) ounces.

    Quantity in the tube?
150 mL, which is a hair over 5 fl oz.

    Date of manufacture?
    Unknown

    Best by date?
    August 12, 2026

    Date received?
    September 2024

    Expiration after opening?
    (12) months.

    Country of origin?
    Made in Korea

    Tube is made of?
From what I can tell, the tube is a thick, heavy-duty plastic, there is a reference, on the tube of this being Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE).

    Recycled materials used?
Unknown whether any portion of the tube was made of recycled LDPE material.

Is the tube recyclable at least?
Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), in theory, can be recycled. However, it appears to be more of a specialty item, its plastic recycle number is “4.”

    Mugwort?
It’s what is said to be in here; mugwort, a plant, which is the rage in Korean skin care products, like this. The claims are noted in the listing, as I really did not see the results.

    Use?
Squeezing the tube brings a very thin of light coffee colored product. It took some sustained pressure to extrude that ribbon, almost as if it had hardened in the tube. However, from what I gather, its consistency is not one that oozes, rather extrudes. I really do not care for that. In-hand, it feels like a rubbery noodle at first. When clasping my hands together to lather, it was like a thick, heavy, a greasy like cream. Like having dipped my hand in Crisco, more than petroleum jelly. I kept rubbing and rubbing my hands and I did not lather. I really did not think I used that much, and I did use water, but I quickly grew tired and just greased it over my face. I didn’t think I used too much, but I did not feel any creamy lather on my face either as I worked this in. What I did think about was not getting this into my eyes, as the cautionary words suggested. The greasy like concoction did wash away, however, some effort and lots of water was the key. I just did not like the feel from squeezing out a ribbon on my hand to application and use on my face.

    Results of use?
I have yet to see the results touted in the listing; although I really wanted such to happen.

Did I feel a film like residue?
    No.

    Did this cause dry skin?
    No.

    Did this irritate my skin?
    So far, no.

    Does this have a scent?
It listed as unscented, but there is an ever so feint aroma of cream, which I really do not care for. I’d rather have something that offered a tad bit of scent, something safe and organic preferably.

Did it clean or open pores?
So far, a specific test area that I targeted does not show the promised results, at least not immediately. Maybe it needs more time? But how long before I see the promised results?

    Rating?
For me, it’s four (4) start at best.

I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

I was pleasantly surprised when I gave this cleansing foam a try. The cleanse comes out thick and creamy, but once you apply it, it foams up really nicely. I definitely feel my face getting cleaner with this without the harsh chemical feel or smell. It has a very mild pleasant scent to it that I really like and my skin feels so much cleaner without the tightness afterwards. I highly recommend this face cleaner.

  7. Catus

This gentle face wash exceeded expectations. It effectively removes makeup without stripping the skin or leaving residue. Only need a pea size amount, as it lathers extremely well and leaves my face soft and refreshed. I have some sensitive troubled skin spots but this product has caused no irritation or breakouts.

  8. Momma 🐝

I wasn’t exactly sure what I was purchasing but, wanted to give it a try. I’m actually quite impressed with this face wash. I think it’s supposed to be a face wash that doesn’t strip the skin and doesn’t leave a residue. That it does! It takes a very small amount of product, lathers nicely and removes my makeup in entirety, leaving my face soft and refreshed. I don’t notice a scent. I normally have bad results when trying new products as I have problematic and acne prone skin. Not the case here. No new breakouts or irritations after almost 2+ weeks of use. I’m impressed.
