I received this AUVON Travel Pill Organizer in May 2024. The item I received matched the Amazon product page description and pictures. The listed dimensions of the pill box when closed were accurate. The product description mentioned a steel pin in the box’s hinge which increases its strength so I tested this with a magnet and the magnet did indicate there was magnetic metal present and I could see on the edges a metallic looking pin in the hinge so this description appears to be accurate. I next tested how strong the magnets were that hold the case closed. I grasped one side of the box and shook it as hard as I could to see if I could get the other side of the box to swing open but I couldn’t. So the magnets holding the box closed worked well yet the box itself is still easy to open when you open it with both hands. Each of the plastic covers over the internal compartments snap closed good also. They are also easy enough to open. I think elderly people would be able to open the compartments easy enough due to how the tabs to pull them open are positioned. Overall I think this is a good pillbox. I like the design and the various compartment sizes should allow storage for many different pill sizes and quantities.

I have my big pill holder that I keep at home but I wanted something small for work and short trips. I was also looking for a pill holder that didn’t look like a pill holder. When I pull out my bottle of ibuprofen at work at least 2 people ask for some every time. I’m a private person and don’t want to be asked what I’m taking or even make it obvious that I’m taking a pill or supplement. This pill holder is perfect. It easily fits in my pocket or the small zippered compartment of my purse. Depending on the amount of pills and supplements you take daily this is perfect for a day or weekend. I love the strong magnetic closure and how the compartments are separated with covers so nothing will spill out. It even comes with a blank sheet of labels. I think the price is very fair. This is just what I was looking for. Discretion is important to me and this is perfect. Five stars!

I ordered this pill case for my xtra bag to keep my often taken medicine in. This is a really nice Pill case. I like that is has a larger compartment as I can put tums in it. It also seems pretty sturdy.
I will say I keep it in a a zippy bag because some of the meds (like tums and pepto tablets) produce powder and the case will leak it out.
Other than that it is a really nice case.

I’m really impressed with this compact travel pill holder. It’s different from most pill holders as it’s not long and translucent. I love that it folds, and the magnet is strong so that it stays closed. I was also surprised to find that the individual compartments can be closed. I guess I thought that when you open the case, the pills would just be in the compartments. It seems weird now, as if it didn’t have individual lids, the pills would probably spill out when you open them. That said, I love that they have lids, LOL! The individual compartments are also a decent size, and some are larger than others, so the case should fit most needs. The case itself is also very portable. It folds nicely and definitely fits in your pocket or your purse.
I especially like the fact that it isn’t clear or long. You don’t get the Monday-Sunday compartments, but the company thought of providing small stickers to label each section. Nice touch! Personally, I only take vitamins, so there’s no real need for the labels, but for some people, I think they are a great added feature. Overall, this is a fabulous pill holder, and for the price, it’s definitely a 5-star item. The pill case is far superior to most that you’ll find in the drugstores and for a lot less money.

I saw an ad on FB, some time back, for a similar product (you’ve probably seen it — with the compartments labeled with little brand stickers), and purchased several — I’ve been using them for a while. Then I saw this one (UVON Travel Pill Organizer with Folding Design, 7 Compartments Daily Pill Case with Long-Lasting Hinges) and thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I did.
First things first — it’s a little bit larger than the other ones I’ve used, and divided a bit differently. At the cost of only having 7 compartments, it gives a considerably more room in each, so works better if you are using supplements or other large sized pills.
The hinges appear to have steel pins in them, instead of being the ‘folding plastic’ kind (or the dimpled cylinder type), which should hold up to a lot of open/close cycles without getting fatigued and breaking. The magnetic closure is a nice touch; much like the hinges, it should stand up to repeated use much better than the little bending tab type that most of the other ones use.
So, it’s not any kind of massive upgrade… but it’s a nice improvement in durability and usability, and, for the cost, well worth it, to me.
