- Macadamia nut oil is known to absorb quickly into the skin, leaving a light, velvety, protective barrier on the skin. Macadamia nut oil also has a low level of oral toxicity, making it a useful ingredient in lip and baby care products.
- Facial Care: After thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating your skin, apply a few drops of macadamia nut oil to your face, neck and throat using light upward strokes. Leave on overnight.
- Hair Care: Heat the oil according to the instructions above. Massage into dry hair and scalp. Cover with a warm towel or heat cap for 20 minutes. Shampoo twice and follow with a light conditioner. Do this once a week to maintain healthy glowing hair.
- Nail Care: Heat some oil in a microwave safe bowl, stopping to check the temperature every 10 -15 seconds. Gently massage the oil into your cuticles.
- While macadamia nut oil is most often used as a type of conditioner for hair, and therefore is washed out after application, it is light enough to leave in without leaving hair greasy or weighed down. Nourishes, de-tangles, and smooth’s the hair, leaving it free of frizz. Can also help heal and prevent split ends, giving hair a much healthier appearance.

This stuff is amazing. I use it on my skin and put it in my hair at night for a deep treatment. My hair is sooo soft. I can use less conditioner. I have very fine very wavy hair that tangles easily and has a tendency to break and snap when I brush it. This has reduced the amount of tangles and therefore reduced stress on my hair. Love it. Already recommended it to my niece.

This oil has a good slickness that aids in detangling. It has a strong nutty scent. One may want to cut it with grapeseed oil if they do not like the smell. It would be a good oil to use in a hot oil treatment.

I’m really shocked that this oil isn’t talked about more as a solve all go to oil than what it is. I’m using this as a topical mixture with tea tree oil. The smell is very light if at all. The thickness is just right! No run off? Or rolling off instead of staying in tact and allowing good even absorption. It’s great for skin, hair, and nails. Even to wrap up your feet in warm cloth and massaged into them after a home made pedicure. I plan on ordering this regularly. The price was great for my pockets and the oil great for its purpose. 🌸

Exquisite oil.
Lightweight, effective to use on my face to keep it wrinkle free; and I cook with it to give my foods a nuanced fine flavor.
I use it on my hair as a finishing touch. It gives my hair a gorgeous sheen that attracts compliments and admiration.
I am experimenting with home made shampoo recipes, and this oil will be part of the essential foundation.
I will be buying this oil to give as gifts to people who are addicted to fine skin care products and are health conscious.

I’ve purchased macadamia “cold pressed, organic” brands before and NONE compare to this one!!!
You can tell the quality of this oil is the best. It’s thick, but not sticky… it smells AMAZING. Just like macadamias. Other oils I used had no scent or smelled rancid after a couple of months.
The dark bottle protects the oil, and I can not express enough how much I love it!
I use this for:
• Moisturizer after shower
• Shaving gel while showering
• Makeup remover
• On hair ends after shower
• Add droplets in a bath, mixed with other essential oils

Great emulsifier (oh I THINK that is the term…). I tried to make my own body Butter but the texture was too oily. I added this and voila, c’est creamy goodness. Marvelous carrier oil for skin soothing blends, after shaving, eczema-prone. Ymmv but its comedogenicity rating is 2 and it’s fairly high in oleic acid (marvelous for aging skin but usually bad for acne prone skin.) same as coconut oil BUT MNO ( or this one at least) doesn’t break me out at all. I think it’s the phytosterols in the MNO; they apparently act like cortisone….
Sweet subtle nutty aroma, light texture more lubricant than astringent. Fantastic quality oil from this company. A new favorite.
Still love my hemp seed oil though. It’s made my 40’s bearable again.
But this is a great alternative.

This oil is lovely! Yes it does have a nutty smell but I find it rather pleasant and the smell honestly dissipates within minutes of applying it. Besides if it was odorless that would be a huge red flag that the oil was refined… I love this stuff it feels so soft and luxurious I’m definitely ordering more because I know I’m gonna use up this bottle rather quickly!!
