First of all, pay attention to what size product you’re ordering- the 10 grams I received is miniscule compared to the one pictured in the listing.
Secondly, this is massively overpriced compared to other options on the market.
Third, I’m not convinced this is actually shea butter… I’ve used real Shea butter before and it’s a bit more yellow, has a very faunt sweet smell, and is more buttery vs just oily (which this product is just that- OILY!)
I would not be surprised if you told me this was actually vegetable shortening or something similar.
Idk. I could be wrong! But the listing doesn’t give me much hope.

LE PURS AMIS Organic Shea Butter Moisturizing Balm is marketed as smooth, non-greasy, and lightly vanilla-scented, but I can’t detect any aroma at all. The texture is surprisingly waxy and white, differing from the slight golden or cream-colored shea butters I’m accustomed to. Still, it melts and absorbs well into the skin, and I appreciate that it’s organic and chemical-free, making it perfect for sensitive skin.
The small size is probably the most puzzling aspect for me. The container is about the size of 2-3 stacked quarters—great for a small purse but not practical for regular use.
The biggest con at the time I am writing this is the pricing: the smaller 10-gram container costs $1.50 per gram, while a larger 150-gram (5.3 oz) container is only $0.27 per gram. That’s a 455.56% price increase per gram for the smaller size, which makes the pricing hard to justify.

The picture on the page of this product is very deceiving. The tin that the balm comes in is a little larger than a quarter. I have uploaded a picture of the tin next to a nickel for reference. The balm itself is your typical shea butter. Definitely not a good value considering it states its for dry skin. If it was for lips, I could see the reason for the small size, but this specifically states skin. To me that means you use it all over which require more product. Would skip this one.

This LE PURS AMIS Organic Shea Butter Moisturizing Balm is really nice! Make sure that you are paying attention to thie size you are ordering – the listing I ordered from shows the 10g size I received but some of the product pictures show a MUCH larger package. This is a pocket sized tin – perfect for taking along – and the shea butter is odorless and tasteless and does a great job of moisturizing and protecting skin.

This shea butter balm is moisturizing but at 0.3 oz it’s quite tiny for the $14 price. The product image where it’s being held up makes it look much, much larger than it actually is.

The Baume Corps body balm 10 gram size is the very very small container, not the large one the model is holding in her hand! I was a bit surprised by what I received, especially for the price. This is a great size to drop in your purse or in a mini travel bag. At room temperature this is a solid type cream. It goes on a little greasy but it absorbed well in a few minutes and has no scent to it at all (which is nice, sometimes you want something with no smell!). It does hydrate your hands well. It is a little pricey for the size but it comes in a cute screw-top metal container and will be great in my purse.

This shea butter is not just shea butter but had an additional ingredient. It is not 100% shea butter which is surprising. I don’t like that this is not disclosed beforehand because at this current asking price, I would expect 100% pure shea butter which is supposed to be yellow. This is white and smells like oil.
I don’t recommend this due to not being 100% shea butter but demanding shea butter prices and being only 10 grams.

Wow! I should have paid more attention to the size of this product because this is definetly not at all what I expected it to be. It’s a body butter but there isn’t even enough to use on one adult leg. I can now see that it’s only 10 grams, so maybe they’re selling product samples for an exorbitant amount of money. I’ve used pure unrefined shea butter sourced from Africa for well over 30 years, and it’s nothing like this. This product does not have the natural nutty smell that shea butter does, nor does it have the color. This is white, and pure unrefined shea butter has a yellowish color. I scooped a bit out and rubbed it on my forearm. It does have a smooth consistency and it was easy to rub into my skin. It provides a nice shine to the skin. It’s not sticky or greasy. I do like how it feels on my skin. HOWEVER, it’s so teeny tiny that all I could see using this for is on my cuticles. There’s nothing on the packaging that indicates where the shea butter is sourced, but this product is made in Korea. It expires in 2027, but there isn’t enough to last more than a week. It’s disappointing to say the least. Again, the cost per volume for this shea butter is mind blowing.
