I have been taking this product for about a year now and I consider it a heavy hitter in my arsenal of natural supplements. I have an auto immune disease that has been put into remission by changing my eating habits and introducing supplements. Ashwagandha helps balance my hormones as well as keep me out of depression which are common when the thyroid is disrupted. Please be very careful when taking this product. I purchased this bottle of Ashwagandha hoping for it to make me feel calmer, sleep well and have a clear mind. After reading all the reviews online, I was convinced to buy this product. After taking this product for 2 weeks symptoms started to arise. I became very dizzy, had really bad heart palpitations, sever headaches, I felt really groggy and had cold chills. I never felt any changes to my health with this product, just dizzy… a lot!! I would wake up from my sleep at night with my heart beating out of my chest. It scared me!!! I felt really really weird on this product. I was only taking 1 pill per day because the dose is extremely high. I throughout the bottle today because this stuff scared me. Please be very careful when trying products online, because you never know what’s really in the bottle or if the reviews are legitimate. Just be careful of this product.

I’m pleased with this Ashwagandha. After trying several brands this is the best. I’ve tried taking it at different times of day and find that first thing in the morning makes me less anxious about getting up and facing the day. Unlike Valerian Root (which I use at night), this does not make me sleepy. I’m looking forward to seeing how this works for me over time.

Ashwagandha has changed my life. I’m not kidding. I’ve been battling depression for more than 18 years, and about six years ago, anxiety reared its head. I’ve taken many antidepressants and a few anti-anxiety medications. Prescription anti-anxiety drugs are addictive and over time contribute to more anxiety if you don’t increase your dose. My antidepressant, which I still take, would mess with my sleep cycle and didn’t make much of a dent on my anxiety. My anxiety and depression were wreaking havoc on my everyday life. I wasn’t sleeping more than three or four hours a night, I couldn’t fall asleep until anywhere from 7 am to 10 am, I was an irritable mess at work, my emotions were all over the place. It wasn’t fun.
I tried this ashwagandha as a last-ditch effort to take back my life. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t obsessively worry about what other people thought of me, fear the way others perceived me, take small mishaps personally, break down when I experienced conflict. Ashwagandha has given me distance from my mental illnesses, a chance to be myself again. Worries feel like a slight whisper in my train of thoughts as opposed to predominant, encompassing, intrusive thoughts that dog me. I can actually disregard minor hiccups and conflict doesn’t destroy me. My mood is stabilized. I can sleep at a normal hour. I feel like a more lively, positive, whole version of myself.
One note, it’s possible that ashwagandha can upset your stomach. I’m experiencing that, but it’s pretty mild. I get a little nauseated if I don’t take the ashwagandha in the middle of a meal. It doesn’t negatively impact my hunger level, and usually I feel little to no nausea if I eat regularly.
