It’s formulated by Nutritionists with ingredients that I can feel good about. All ingredients are clearly indicated on the package. I would give the Vitamax Health Optimal Energy a solid 4 stars. It has a balanced lemonade flavor that’s not very sweet or tart, and even though it’s sweetened with stevia, it doesn’t have the stevia aftertaste that some drink mixes have. I also like how it has a mix of B vitamins and is vegan friendly and I’m always looking for a way to get vitamin B12 in my diet. The powder is packaged in individual serving-sized packets so you can throw these in your purse/bag and have them on hand whenever you need them. When drinking this, I was less likely to feel dehydrated. Overall a good product!
I also want to point out that according to Vitamax Health, “a portion of all proceeds are donated to wildlife conservation organizations around the world.” I think it’s important to acknowledge when a company donates to worthwhile causes, because it makes a difference.

Full Disclousure – I have lost 130 pounds as of this writing and just started using Vitamax, however, I recently tried Vitamax Health’s Optimal Energy Lemonade Sugar-Free Hydration Recovery Powder Stick Packs, and they’ve been a game-changer for me. After using them, I’ve noticed a real boost in my energy and hydration, which has been great, especially after a workout or a long day.
The powder includes all the essential electrolytes—Calcium, Potassium, Sodium, and Magnesium—plus Taurine, which helps keep me hydrated for longer. The B vitamin complex is another plus, as it helps convert food into energy, making me feel less tired throughout the day.

I am so happy that I gave Vitamax a try so had to leave a review, despite not being a consistent Amazon reviewer.
Let’s start with the taste. I’ve tried quite a few “electrolyte” type supplements. I feel that they don’t compare to this. One has barely any flavor and didn’t do anything for energy; the other is incredibly too salty. I love the subtle yet flavorful lemonade flavor with Vitamax.
Next is energy and what’s in it! I really love the ingredients as I’m almost always careful about what I put in my body, no junk. After a workout or a long day of just working and being a new mom, this keeps my energy level perfect during or after; most of all: NO JITTERS! If I do too much caffeine, that may happen. The natural ingredients in this product gives you NATURAL energy.
Lastly, the price point. Exceptional for the amount you get, and the fact that you get individual packets! You can take them on the go if needed, which is so helpful, especially when you stay pretty busy or travel.
I’m happy that I found this supplement. Safe to take daily, and gives me energy (and recovery if needed) without jitters.

The B Vitamins are a nice add for an afternoon kick. I dropped my pm coffee taste while I trialed these and this supplement really pulled it off! I think adding B’s is never a bad way to go. Taste is on par with others I’ve used but far less salty tasting. After a max sweat day outdoors, it kept the cramps at bay as well. I’ll keep using and await the next flavors! I could not confirm the taste or smell issue mentioned by another reviewer. I give this a high grade for palatability!

Vitamax is solid. Plain and simple. It provides a nice elevation in energy for the gym or an outdoor run, and yet I never felt like I was digesting an anxiety inducing chemical filled energy drink, which I am not a fan of. As a type 1 diabetic and avid gym fan, this was the perfect addition to my water intake. It provides a solid, yet not overpowering lemon flavor, without any additional blood sugar spikes, both before and after my workout. I also appreciate that there are no fake sweeteners, sugar, or artificial ingredients. Kudos to Vitamax Health for taking the time to get a portable energy mix right.
