We tried the tea… It has a mild hibiscus flavor, which I was not fond of. I did get itchy skin from the stinging nettle which I guess is not altogether an uncommon reaction. The marketing is cute. Love the baby elephant sneezing, but not fond of the itchiness or the flavor. My family member also tried it though and was fine. Guess I’m allergic to stinging nettle. I’m glad I discovered that while taking just a mild dose of it. So I would do as the instructions suggest- small dose at first, see how it works for you, then try more. Be wary of the stinging nettle. Not everyone can tolerate it. But for those that can, I understand it does help with histamine.

I was so happy to get this, it arrived today and I am stuffy and congested with allergies from having to wear a face mask. The mask makes my congestion so much worse. Adult doses of allergy meds, often make me feel tired and drowsy. I find that I can use the kids medications and remedies and get “just enough” relief, without knocking myself out. I have to be able to function during the day so I am happily making this and drinking it all day. I normally drink tea during the day so this is perfect. I love that it is organic and the tin it comes in is adorable. I can’t tell yet how much relief it will bring, but the ingredients are awesome. Five stars from me! The fact that this can be used on newborns tells you how gentle it is.

Servings sizes for different ages of children are listed on the container. The tea tastes fine without sweetening, or you can add sweetener.

I used this for my newborn a week straight and noticed her allergies were way better. She’s too young for the drs to diagnose her with allergies but I know the signs. Itchy swollen eyes, always sneezing. Also we have a dog. After putting a tsp in each bottle her symptoms were better after 2 days. Now after a week and a half I don’t have to use it anymore, no more swollen itchy eyes and sneezing.

Kids love the taste (very fruity), and they love waiting for the water to change color as the tea steeps. I’ve been using the allergy tea for my oldest who wakes up every morning with itchy eyes. She says the tea makes her feel better.

This tastes like berry tea. It comes in a nice tin. I really like the bags the tea is in. Very sheer and silky.
The tea steeps quickly in hot water and becomes dark easily.
As far as the natural properties of the tea leaves helping allergy symptoms, that’s anyone’s guess. I suffer with horrific allergies and really, any kind of liquid helps. Water especially.
You can give up to one teaspoon of tea to newborn babies, in their bottles or in breast milk. It’s all natural, so it won’t hurt. None of the ingredients are risky to ingest or have caffeine.

Honestly, I cannot attest to the science behind anything herbal helping babies with allergy symptoms. Before treating your child with herbal tea, make sure they aren’t really fighting an infection or flu, by monitoring how they act, whether or not they are running a fever, and what kind of drainage they may be having. Know when to seek medical help.
The tea is good but I can’t recommend it for allergic symptoms.
