I was gonna go look for cheaper ones but this had really great reviews. THIS IS ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES! I didn’t put it the fridge or anything like that and I just tried it on and shockingly it is really great! It’s normal cold when worn and it just relaxes my head and eyes! ❤️

Litterly.. You can feel the temperature in your head start to cool upon slipping it on. Your headache will start to fade with great coverage all around to the back of your neck. Covers your eyes as pictured for a comfortable way to relax. Quality is really good no leaks or flaws. It was actually a recommendation from our neurologist. One of the best investments thus far. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Purchased two and gifted one. They come in a reusable easy zip bag that is secure. The appearance is a plus.

I will say I was doubtful on if it would work or not but it does! It helps me relax. Helps me go to sleep easier. I usually put it on when I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t go back to sleep. I need to get my mom one because she has been borrowing mine when I don’t use it!! Definitely worth the price. My doggo even started scratching it and it didn’t break or anything. Personally for me it stays on until I wake up or take it off. Who cares if it looks weird as long as it makes me feel better that’s all that matter & great size too. I have a big head and it stretches out. I would definitely try it out if I were you!

So far I haven’t had a migraine since this arrived but I have had several headaches. Each time, I put the cap on and the ache was relieved INSTANTLY. Between the cool temperature and the snug fit, the relief is outstanding, and honestly, I think for me, the snug fit/pressure is the key. My headaches tend to last for hours and hours or even days; I put the cap on when I first notice a headache coming on and it’s gone within minutes. Seriously, minutes!
All that said, the odor was VERY strong when it first arrived. Strong scents often trigger my migraines so I put the cap outside all day for a few days in an area that gets both sun and shade. (I did bring it inside overnight.) After a few days, the scent isn’t nearly so strong. I did end up having to use the cap several times while the scent was still very strong and thankfully it didn’t bother my sensitive sinuses and it did relieve my headache. I’m hoping over time the odor disappears completely but for me, it’s worth it even if it doesn’t.
I am super happy with this cap! In the 30+ years I’ve been having chronic headaches and migraines, nothing has ever relieved them as quickly and completely as this cap. I considered giving the cap 4 stars due to the odor but it’s effectiveness in alleviating my headaches is so astounding that I feel it deserves the full 5 stars despite the odor.

Tip: Put this in the “freezer” in the ziploc-type bag it came in for about 4 hours (even though the instructions only say to put it in the “refrigerator”), put it on your head, and then wrap a comfy blanket on your head to maximize the time it stays cold!!! Mine stayed cold for 30 minutes. Regardless of putting it in the fridge or freezer, it will only stay cold for about 15 minutes (unless you use something like a blanket as I described). I absolutely love the comfort of the fit. It fits my smaller head, but it also fits my husband’s larger head. We both agreed it’s super comfy. The material is super soft. It has a tiny smell, nothing overpowering. I can smell really well, and this didn’t bother me at all!!! The fit is amazing how to forms to your whole head and comes down past your nose for superior light blocking. It even hits the base of your skull which is awesome. The temperature straight out of the freezer after several hours will give you a slight brain freeze. I thought it would be better at a more cold temperature, but give it a minute to slightly warm up… It’s so comfortable, it’s luxurious just to put it on and sit with your eyes closed. I don’t think that it would help take away a “migraine” for anyone though, but it is soothing. I read reviews for the more expensive brands, but they all say they only last about 15 minutes. This was worth $18!!! I enjoy it like a spa treatment. It’s 360 degrees and the whole top of your head – of chill. Yes, it would be nice if it stayed cold for more than 30 minutes, but I don’t know how they could ever make that happen…

I have semi-frequent tension headaches and migraines. I had looked at this type of hat/device for some time debating on the purchase. I finally pulled the trigger on a day when I was suffering from a tension headache.
My first impression, was that this cap is TIGHT! But that is more or less the goal; the object is to apply pressure and cold to the pressure points that trigger headaches or migraines. The nose part felt a little awkward and did not fit perfectly onto the top of my nose, but… ahhh! It was immediate relief. I get tension headaches more frequently than migraines, so I cannot attest to the use of this cap for migraines, as I have not had one yet since my purchase.
Another unexpected use of this cap is for overstimulation (sensory input). I have a pre-teen with sensory issues and he likes to use this cap almost as much as me. It was immediately calming for him and he has used it more frequently than I have. Of course, use caution–I will not allow him to sleep with it on, due to the restriction/constriction/tightness, due to my concern about it falling out of place and covering his nostrils or being pushed onto his neck (and creating a choking hazard)–however, it is a very good product that performs as it claims to perform and I am satisfied with it. I have not tried to put it in the fridge or freezer yet; due to the material, it feels cooling and thick and (in my opinion) can easily be used without additional cold preparation.

These are my favorite migraine caps so far. I actually bought two so I always have at least one ready to go. It’s comfortable and doesn’t put much pressure on the eyes like another migraine cap I have. It doesn’t stay cold for super long, especially when it’s hot, but that’s a thermodynamics problem, not a product problem. I’m sure it would stay cool longer if you put it in the freezer instead of the fridge, but that’s way too cold for me. I’m actually wearing one right now. Definitely recommend.
