This is a great little unit for those of us who prefer simplicity. Instructions are clearly written. Cuff easy to apply to your own arm. Monitor straight forward with an easy to read display. Readings consistent with those taken in medical office. Would have rated 5 stars if power adapter had been included. Great value for the price!

Decent bare bones machine but matched to another machine this always gives a different reading. To be fair reviews show accuracy with most blood pressure machines seem to be a problem but operator error needs to be considered because locating the artery is key. I used to have a much better monitor but prices have doubled in most cases so I had to downgrade.

*DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES AS STATED IN DESCRIPTION* <—- my only complaint that I forgot to mention when I first reviewed this. I had previously purchased a different brand BP monitor, but the readings were always high – as in, if they were actually accurate, I'd be in the hospital. Returned that one after comparing readings with my doctor's monitor. After seeing over and over that OMRON is the standard for home BP monitors, I found this one. Although it doesn't have all of the features that my old monitor had, it's actually pretty accurate, and therefore much more useful in keeping track of my BP between doctor visits. I do wish it was backlit and had memory settings, but I assume that's available in a costlier model. No biggie as this does the job at a reasonable price.

The arm cuff is large enough for bigger arms. It’s not complicated, one button. It turns on and engages quickly. The readings have seem to be consistent. Good value for the price. So far so good. It’s doing it job.
