My doctor recommended that I take Omega 3 so I have been taking 1 per day for a long time. I have always gotten fish oil in the past. This is the first plant based Omega 3 I have ever had and so far I am pleased with it. The capsules are the right size to swallow easily and leave no bad taste behind. There are 120 capsules in the bottle, which will last me for a long time. The only downside to me is the price, which seems a little much, but the quality is there, and they come in a cute little bottle that has a picture of a monkey on it.
CustomerReview –
These waft a smell as you swallow these. And having to take 4 at a time means a lot of big pills. I have gagged several times trying to get them down. They may be a great product but it is too much of a fight to not gag on them.

Split into 4 pills makes them easier to swallow
Kind of funny branding and imaging but the pills seem effective and no weird after taste or smell

Important note: Unlike other reviews here, I did not receive free products in exchange for my review. I am not a member of vine. This brand sells powder capsules, with a VERY STRONG UNPLEASANT FISH SMELL. I’ve been taking Vegan Omega 3 for years. Other brands have barely any smell. But those are gelcaps. I tried this brand because of the discount. But, this product is UNUSABLE. I absolutely cannot recommend this product. There are plenty of other gelcap-based Vegan Omega 3 products without the strong fish smell that offer discounts.
Update: Amazon does not allow this product to be returned. The smell is so bad I cannot use them. The smell lingers in your breath for a long time. This is the worst Vegan Omega 3 I have ever tried. It’s so bad I wonder if it’s Vegan. In fact, I believe the company is selling old, putrid bottles of product, knowing it can not be returned. Also, there is no trace of the brand’s information anywhere on the internet. It’s as if they relabeled some very old product that went bad, to get rid of it, without it being associated with a real brand

SHORT REVIEW: These “Bored Ape” branded plant based vegan Omega 3 capsules smell and taste like fish. When I googled why that might be, I learned that as Omega 3s break down (oxidation) the rancid oils can start to give off a fishy odor. Unfortunately the ‘Best By’ date on the bottom is printed on the rim of the bottle, so the year didn’t get printed (see image) and I don’t know when they’re best by. While “Bored Nutrition” is a cute concept, I find the taste and odor of these Omega 3 capsules unpleasant, and I’ve read that rancid (oxidized) Omega 3 oils (from any source) may not provide the benefit fresh (non odorous) oil would.
THE DETAILS looking at Company transparency, Accountability, and Quality:
Transparency (Low, in my opinion): I was unable to find trademark activity for any of the names associated with these (They may exist, I just couldn’t find them). I did find a “Bored Nutrition” announcement on the Twitter account of Amazon & internet entrepreneur (and “Bored Nutrition” company head?) A. Ginsberg, who apparently purchased the “Bored Ape” NFT image license which is featured on the package. There is a webpage for Borednutrition dot com, but there is not an “about us” page or history of the brand.
Accountability (unclear): I didn’t find a link to contact Ginspire nutrition company on Amazon. I did see the somewhat blurry image of a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) which indicates the tester (manufacturer?) is “Doctor’s Scientific Organica”. I can’t make out enough for the CoA to mean anything to me though. Doctor’s Scientific Organica (DSO) does have a web site at “SmartForLife”, and that brand is sold at major retailers. I am unable to find any information about Good Manufacturing Practice Certification (and am not even sure DSO is the manufacturer, and I was unable to ask).
Quality: These 120 capsules are a 30 day supply at 4 capsules per day. When I open the container there is a decidedly fishy odor, and the capsules taste fishy so that they are unpleasant for me to swallow. I tasted the powder inside (fishy). As a fishy odor is said to be a possible sign of rancidity in Omega 3 oils, I am concerned about product quality, especially with an unreadable ‘best by’ date.
Just so you know, the capsules are not printed (unlike the ones in the images), which I was happy about.
Two Stars — one was given because vegan Omega 3 is a Great Concept and one was given for clever marketing.

This supplement product arrived on time and was well packaged. As a senior in my mid-70’s, Omega-3 is an important element for me. I try to get it from fish, but for times I cannot, this supplement has shown me a great way to keep up with my daily dose. This supplement product, since I have been taking it has given me the energy and positive feeling I love to have. Although the price point is a bit high for me, the fact that it is organic and keeps my body in a positive state is all that matters to me. Very pleased with this.

These capsules of Omega 3 are easy to swallow, I take 2 twice a day so is a one month supply, as recommended. I did not notice any aftertaste. I like a vegan version as an option. Made in the USA which is what I look for in supplements. I have not noticed a decrease in pain or joint aches, but that is why I try to take omega 3s, can’t take NSAIDs. They are pretty expensive, so think I might try 2 a day and then take my other omega 3s that I have been taking in a half dose so these will last for 2 months.

On opening the bottle, they do have a fishy smell, and they do taste fishy to me. I think it is great to have a vegan alternative, but the oil I am currently using definitely tastes better than these. They do have a higher EPA and DHA than my oil. These are expensive, but all of these things are. I am not sure I would order these again.
