Love the calming smell of this product. If you don’t like lavender, don’t try it. But I love how it feels on my stomach, not too greasy but I can tell it’s hydrating and stays on all day. 31 weeks and not a stretch mark in sight. Not that stretch marks are bad- but the product is doing its job!

I bought this for my itchy tummy skin during early pregnancy. I’m not worried about stretch marks as I already have a bunch. Right out of the box when you take the lid off it smells like feet mixed with lavender. I decided to use it anyways and after it was on my skin it didn’t have a smell really at all. Definitely not an unpleasant experience but I don’t think I’d buy again though.

I don’t know if this product will work for everyone or not, but it definitely worked on my belly. I am 42 years old and was pregnant with twin girls. (Born Jan. 15, 2013) I applied to by stomach and sides at morning and at bedtime and did not have one stretchmark. Friends or family who asked to see my belly would comment on how great my skin looked. At Dr. and ultrasound appointments they would also comment ‘not one stretchmark!” I kept waiting for them to appear, but they never did. The oil smells lightly of lavender. Very soothing. I totally 100% recommend trying this product.

Like other review, I love the smell when I put it on my belly at night.
However, it makes my sleepwear or shirts smell foul next day. Still trying to find a way to remove the bad smell staying with the clothing. Washing with detergents several times does not help at all. Any suggestion?

They say stretch marks are hereditary; both my mom and sister have them, but I haven’t yet seen once stretch mark on or around my belly or hips. I’ve used this oil from 8wks-post partum with 2 babies already and am now pregnant with my third. I am 5’8” 150lbs (pre preg) and gained 30lbs and 50lbs each time respectively. I’m pretty sure there is magic in this oil because my stomach skin still looks smooth and supple as ever!

I love this belly oil. Lightweight enough that it absorbs but thick enough to feel moisturizing. I’m 27 weeks pregnant and no stretchmarks yet, although I don’t think they can truly be prevented just by moisturizing. I saw other reviews complaining about the smell but I quite like it. Very light and earthy/natural smelling.

Motherlove Belly Oil is great. I used it with my first pregnancy and got no stretch marks. I have been told that stretch marks are just genetic and nothing I use will work. Well, both my sister and Mom got stretch marks really bad and didn’t use anything. I used it and didn’t get anything. I’m almost through with my second pregnancy and still have no stretch marks. I recommend this product to anyone who gets pregnant. It smells nice too.

Used this oil more for postpartum but it has been wonderful. I recommend if you’re pregnant, USE LOTION AND OILS for your belly!! Slather it all on. It really did help me have a better looking belly lol.
