This face oil feels silky and intensely hydrating. However, it is on the thicker side and probably provides more moisture than my sensitive combination skin requires. I tend to use lighter face oils and found that this one sat on my skin a lot heavier than I would prefer. I wound up passing it on to my husband, who has dryer skin, as I was afraid the heaviness of this oil would cause my sensitive skin to break out (as heavier moisturizers/creams/oils often do – nothing against this one in particular).
My husband has had better luck with it and enjoys it more than I. He thinks it feels rather luxurious and effective at keeping dry patches on his cheeks away.
It doesn’t have an oily feel but leaves the skin with a nice glow.

I LOVED this Matcha Face Oil for several reasons. While it was SUPER OILY on my face (as in, oil slick alert!), it made my face supple and feel very moisturized for the following day after leaving it on my face the entire evening. I was very pleased with the overall results. It left my forehead wrinkles feeling especially filled in. I was very happy with this! I loved how it smelled too: it has a faint matcha-y scent to it that feels very “clean” and natural. Overall, I can definitely say I would recommend this product. I like to layer it underneath heavier creams to “lock” in the moisture. It’s absolutely a nighttime oil, not a daytime product however!
