My skin loves this stuff. From the nutty scent (not musty or moldy) to the smooth delivery on the skin, I love this! I’ve even used it to help as a mild sun deterrent (I’m extremely sun sensitive, even going between my car and the grocery store can cause pinpricks of pain. I hate wearing heavy sunscreen just to leave the house, so I gave this a test run and it provided enough of a shield for me to comfortably go between buildings. I’m not sure I’d test run it on a full day outside, but it’s great for daily requirements. My hair loves it too!

I’m a massage therapist and bought this fora seasonal special for my clients. The consistency of the oil its self is fine. It actually has a lot more glide than expected based on reviews, however, it smells like play dough. There isn’t even the slightest fruit scent let alone pomegranate scent which is extremely disappointing. I will probably send this back if possible

I love this pomegranate oil. It’s a very true natural smell that dissipates quickly so you are not bothered by some lingering smell constantly. I don’t know why all pomegranate oils don’t smell the same, but they don’t. I ordered one by a good brand that I have used for oils, and the smell was so sweet and disgusting and lingered forever. I had to send it back. But this one is very slight and natural and I enjoy smelling it on my hands when I am applying it. I find it too thick to use on my face alone. It is ok if you blend it with some jojoba or squalane oil–something not too oily. But if you use it on your legs, you can apply it alone and it works great, and especially after shaving. Soothes your legs after shaving, and keeps the ashy look away until you bath it off. Leaves a lovely moist sheen on your legs. Another great thing I found out accidently, is that it works great for healing skin. I had a small cut on my hand and wasn’t even thinking about it, but with putting the oil on my legs and then rubbing the rest over my hands, I noticed 2 days later the cut was gone! I’ve never had something heal that fast. And it works great on my rough hands like nothing else will do, even when I’ve tried to soak them in other oils and wear gloves for hours. That didn’t even work as well as just putting a little pomegranate oil on at bedtime and the next morning they are in good shape. I will be ordering my 2nd bottle soon. I realize batches vary. I’ll see how much it is the same on the smell or not. I think this company tries to keep quality control. I also like the fact that we are supporting a veteran owned company–and made in the USA! I highly recommend this brand.

This oil is nice & keeps skin moisturized, but I personally had to stop using on my face. I was using to take off eye makeup & to moisturize my face & I got an eyelid bumps (stye) & some breakouts and I rarely break out at 51 yrs old. Will continue using on my body though.

My daughter reports that it smells good, unlike another oil that was apparently rancid. It is also not too thick, goes smoothly on her little boy’s kinky hair to help make it possible to brush it out. I have bought a couple of bottles for them.

There’s thin oils, and there’s thick/heavy oils, and this one is heavy and thick. I buy oils for my beard, so in hair (as opposed to skin) you can immediately tell the consistency. But I’m not saying this is a bad thing! As far as scent, it seems very neutral to me. Not sure how it compares to other oils I’ve used, yet, but I’ll report back. So far no complaints.
