Smells and taste TOXIC. We had hoped to find a trusted ingredient to add to a new product. Not knowing how black seed should smell, I still trusted the labeling and I tasted a very small sample. It caused hiccups and near violent burping immediately. My body was rejecting it. After such disappointment, the next week we purchased Nigella Sativa seed and cold pressed to compare with this product and there was no comparing. The pressed oil was fragrant, delicious and only a mild aftertaste in a burp later in the day. This product prints trust icons on its label but smells of unnatural chemicals, almost like industrial solvents. There are far better brands to put your trust in.

I heard about Black Seed Oil in a podcast about health in which they referred to it as “black oil.” It is an oil from something called “Nigella sativa” and has a distinctive smell which is hard to describe. It’s not a really pleasant smell, but it is not too offensive. Nevertheless, after I drink a few drops in water once a day, I experience a feeling of wellbeing – sort of like an energy boost. I do not know why or what the effect is, but it is real and noticeable each time. This was my second bottle. (I have been using it for about 6 weeks now.) I recommend for all to research its use for yourselves. But it works for me.

I purchased this because I have heard that black seed oil is the cure for all diseases besides death. I haven’t noticed a big difference but I haven’t been using it for long.
All I can say is that about 2 to 3 years ago I had burnt myself with the plug of a hair dryer because I unplugged it right after turning off the hair dryer and the plug was super hot and after that, a bump that looked like a pimple formed were I had burnt myself and I tried popping it multiple times and it wouldn’t budge but after taking this for only two days, the bump finally popped and a bunch of nasty stuff started coming out. Its to much of a coincidence for it not to have been the black seed oil. I think that this stuff started working from the inside and finally pushed out whatever was in that pimple .
I will give it some more time before I can say if I see any other differences but for now it seems to be doing good.
I will say the flavor is pretty nasty but I add the oil to water or juice to be able to drink it.

I have used good quality black seed oils before and they didn’t smell like this one. Very strong, overpowering chemical smell like gasoline or diesel. Won’t be purchasing again.
