I have three requirements for supplements to even consider taking them. They must be made in the USA in a GMP-certified facility and have undergone third-party lab testing. This Nature’s Plus PRO ThymoQuin Black Seed Oil supplement meets those requirements. The bottle, listing, and website do not specifically say that it is made in the USA. I contacted Natures Plus customer service to ask where it is manufactured and was assured it is indeed made in the USA. The black seed oil is cold-pressed and uses no heat or solvents. This supplement is free of gluten. This bottle will last for 60 days at the recommended serving size of 1 softgel per day. At the current price of $29.95, the cost per serving is $0.50.
Natures Plus has a fully-functional website with this supplement available for purchase. They have a Facebook page with 126K followers. This is a very well-known and respected brand. The website has a contact form, full street address, and toll-free phone number available for customer assistance. I received a response from using the contact form in less than a day so they are very responsive. GPS shows the full address is a very large commercial building with the name Natural Organics, Inc on the building. Natural Organics, Inc is listed on the bottle as the parent company of Natures Plus. Based on my research, I feel like this supplement is safe to take because it is made in the USA, third-party lab tested, and produced by a well-known supplement manufacturer.

I was looking for black seed oil and found these soft gels. They seem to be everything they are advertised to be. The soft gels are easy to swallow, and the oil taste isn’t on the outside of the gels. I’m very pleased with the product. If you’re looking for black seed oil, this should a great option. No unpleasant taste, and the 500mg size should be what most folks are looking for.

I recently discovered Black Seed Oil and am very impressed by all the benefits. It has taken a few weeks to notice benefits which is not surprising as this is common with natural supplements. Natures Plus is a brand that has been in the supplement market almost 50 years. That is way back before I had any interest or need for support for crazy, mysterious health issues. To me that says this brand is stable and they and their products are trustworthy. Natures Plus Black Seed Oil is science backed, organic, non gmo and lab tested. All these are points you should care about when choosing a supplement.
This Black Seed Oil comes in small capsules that are easy to swallow but I warn you not to let them linger in your mouth. Otherwise, you will most likely taste the full flavor of the Black Seed Oil. It is not tragic, just a little peppery. There are 60 servings making this Black Seed Oil very cost effective.

This is a great black seed oil supplement. It’s pure black seed oil, standardized to 3% thymoquinone. This is very potent, and far more potent than your typical black seed oil. You can also be confident in the strength and purity since it’s using the standardized ThymoQuin brand oil. I take 1-2 softgels per day. At 500mg per softgel, you really only need 1 per day to get the therapeutic effects. I take it primarily for gut health and allergy support. Personally, I haven’t noticed any major improvements since I started taking black seed oil, but the science is promising. If you are interested in a potent and high quality black seed oil, this is by far one of the best options out there and far more convenient than dealing with oil.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to get to know the company and product better, to help you determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out.
This bottle comes less than half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies.
If used as directed it will last two months.
The “best by” date on mine is Aug 2026.
I like the scent of black seed oil, and you can smell it the moment you open the bottle. The taste is not strong and the softgels are easy to swallow with water. Interestingly, the “actual size” outline on the bottle is slightly larger than the actual softgels.
I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says none of those. The product page says cGMP compliant. Their website says organic, but doesn’t specify for this product.
I look into the supplement companies I use because I’ve come across so many questionable ones. It looks like they are at least 50 years old. Their naturesplus site is functional and informative. It has their phone number, mailing address, and a Contact page form. The website has a lot of other information about the company, their processes, and more. It is some of the transparency I like to see with a supplement company.
I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement, but I like the quality of their black seed oil, and the lack of fillers that many companies say they need to use, but the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to. For two months’ worth of quality black seed oil, especially from an established company, this seems like a good deal.

Black seed oil is supposed to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties that could help with conditions like psoriasis, asthma, hair loss, and acne.
I don’t know if it actually works, but softgels are easy to swallow so I figured it’s worth a try. The smell reminds me of black pepper, but there is not taste.
