This product came in a plastic sealed box. The product included a dropper separate from the regular container so you can seal it tightly with original lid when traveling. The rosehip oil itself seems fragrant free. The dropper makes it easy to use with only a few drops necessary to cover your face. It’s smooth like oil but will absorb well. I am 53 and actually noticed the hydrating effects on my face within 2 days. I have never loved a product more than I do this one right now. I have told others and recommended it to my daughter. It hasn’t caused a breakout and actually helps with acne.

I have used this oil for several weeks now and I am very pleased with the quality. It’s a nice pale golden oil with a very light hint of rose, I have a super sense of smell and it only lasts for a second. It glides on my skin and soaks in perfectly. I have very sensitive, combo skin with rosacea acne and redness – this has not upset my skin nor caused any breakouts. It soothes my dryness without being greasy and in my experience helps ease my rosacea acne flare ups. I can pat a bit around my eyes for a nice nighttime moisturizer with no stinging or burning which I always encountered with mass market eye creams. This oil is just fantastic!!!! I wake up each morning with a glowing complexion and no dry spots. I’m hoping to see more long term benefits from using rosehip oil and so far so good. The bottle is a brown plastic with a very nice dropper, but neither of those things bother me and I like having control over how much oil I dispense.

I received my Eden’s Semilla brand of rosehip oil a month ago. Since my first rosehip oil purchase I have always bought organic. This is my third brand of rosehip oil have tried, mostly due to cost per ounce.
My recent decision to buy Eden’s Semilla was based on its price, which is on lower end of other similar products I have bought. My bouncing around from brand to brand was not due to a lack of quality, however when I received the Eden’s brand I was more satisfied with Eden’s than other products I had received. The Eden’s oil to me felt more concentrated and more hydrated. This brand is much cheaper and better quality than many expensive name brand “serums” I have tried.
I wholly suggest this product over these artificially colored name brand serums that only have a small percentage of the healing oils in them. Eden’s Semilla hydrates better (not to mention the perfumes added to other product serums irritate skin) and is, as it says, 100% of the healing oils you need. Eden’s is a great brand to reach a level of hydration I had truly never had before using it. It is very hydrating without the heavy oil feel. It absorbs quickly. My skin cleaning and hydrating regimen is not the same without it.
(In addition, Rosehip oil is not only good for hydrating but is said have healing properties with acne by shrinking sebum glands. It has been practiced in Asian countries for years. I have noticed my skin has cleared up since using it.)

Rosehip Oil is great-I have been using it all over: scalp, skin, and mixing with body lotion. It has an “earthy” smell, it doesn’t bother me. I mostly apply it as a last skincare step at night to my face. I am on a medication that makes my skin dry and flaky-and this has prevented dryness and flakes so well that even my dermatologist complimented my skin on my latest checkup.
I bought it because it is 100% with no fillers, or other oils. You have to be careful because I found some that look like pure oil but aren’t.
If I have one criticism on it, it would be the packaging. It is a plastic bottle, some people may prefer a glass one. It doesn’t bother me personally too much. The dropper on the one I got doesn’t hold the oil in it at all one sucked up-so no matter how fast a move it out of the bottle, it just leaks out. Maybe I got a bad dropper.
You get a generous amount for the price-even though the packaging could be improved, the product itself is great.

I bought Eden’s Semilla Rosehip Oil in mid December and wanted to try it for a while before giving a review. I use this daily in the morning after washing my face before applying light moisturizer with SPF 15. I have yet to apply it at night, but am thinking I probably should since I don’t use night creams. However, I also apply some to the heels of my feet, forearms, and elbows after my shower or bath. This rosehip oil has done wonders for my skin!!! I have the prettiest softest heels and skin. I love the youthful glow it gives me and it has even helped clear my skin from acne breakouts. I also love how it has softened my beginning signs of expression lines and there are no more crinkles on my cheeks when I smile. This rosehip oil sinks in nicely into my skin and there is no greasy feel or look. I used to have very oily facial skin and believe it or not this has helped!!!! I alternate between two types of make up and both work great with rosehip oil underneath. Some days I use mineral makeup and some days I use an ultra powder foundation for more coverage. Even when I wear no make up and only apply the rosehip oil to my face, my skin looks great and healthier than before I started using this. I am so happy with this product I recommended it to my mom who also purchased it and now she is sporting a “glow” too. It makes me feel good applying something natural and healthy on my skin!
