I use this oil every morning as part of my skincare routine. This is a high-quality organic oil the blends easily over the skin to moisturize the skin without feeling greasy or excessively oily. My skin feels smooth and hydrated. This is a wonderful oil for aging skin. It is also a very good oil for those who are sensitive to fragrances or other additives. This oil is a good value for the price, comparable to prices I have found in some specialty stores.

This oil feels great, not oily & no odor… not rancid like purchase of a NOW Rosehip oil purchased from another company. Lovely amber color.
Using it on my face.
Box says “Cold pressed & unrefined.” which is another reason purchased this.
Bottle says “not animal tested, no synthetic preserves, colors or fragrances. USDA Organic. Certified organic by OAI. Cold pressed from the seeds of rose fruits, known as the hips..”
Ingredients: Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip) fruit oil.
Reason not 5 stars is because this did leak some. Upon opening shipping box I saw an oil stain on inside of box. I removed the bottle from the bubble wrap & there was some oil in the bubble wrap. Fortunately not much leaked out. Would be good idea for this bottle to be capped and the pump dispenser to be in the bottle. Then it likely won’t leak during shipping.

Love it

I’ve tried a number of different brands of pure argan oil, and for some reason, this is the most effective I’ve found. Does a fabulous job of moisturising and of rebalancing the oils in your skin. It’s done wonders for occasional eczema too.

If you are looking for a pretty smell because it comes from a flower, you will be disappointed. It is a seed oil – it smells like oil. This product is also blended with vitamin E – which happens to be an oil that I really hate the smell of. However, I was looking for the organic seed oils because I wanted to avoid unnecessary chemicals and a natural way to moisturize my very dry skin. I have an autoimmune condition that contributes to my dry skin and eyes. Left un-moisturized my hands can get small splits in the winter that will bleed, so really, really dry skin. I consider some treatments to be worth a blah smell, I think of it like medicine for your skin. This product does not smell ‘bad,’ and if you like the smell of vitamin E you will be in your glory.
I purchased this item after doing some research on seed oils. I already was using evening primrose oil and I wanted to add this to my skin care routine. I started by alternating am/pm with the products, then just decided to use both together. I tend to use one pump of this product mixed with a few drops of evening primrose oil. It works well. I apply the blend immediately after a shower. By the time I have gotten partially dressed and into a robe, my skin is ready for makeup. No oil residue, just a soft freshly moisturized feel.
Like most products, it states to avoid the eye area. I choose to use it everywhere on my face as well as in the eye area. I actually rub it in, including the lash line. I have very dry eyes and I can really rub this product in and have no irritation. In fact, it feels great!
One ‘drawback,’ if you can really consider it one: If you are not going to use it quickly, you need to keep in in the refrigerator. Oils that are pure and organic, without preservatives, will go rancid. When I did keep mine in the refrigerator, I would forget about it. Unfortunately, I really need to put moisturizer on the minute I get out of the shower while I am in a steamy room, so if I didn’t remember to bring it in the bathroom before my shower, then I can’t use it. I have decided to throw caution to the wind and keep it in the bathroom and just check to make sure that it does not get a rancid smell.
I would definitely buy this again. In fact, I would purchase a larger container to keep in the fridge and just keep refilling this container to the 1/2 way point to overcome the rancid potential vs. the keep in the bathroom to make it usable.

Jussct received this a couple days ago and so far I love it. I looked up some reviews on the best brands of argan oil that were also reasonably priced. Aura Acacia was one of the brands mentioned. I am familiar with Aura Cacias essential oils and am pleased with the quality of their products. I read a lot about argan oil and was excited to try it out. I have used many other kinds oils for body and beauty purposes: sweet almond, sesame, coconut, grape seed, olive, baby oil, jojoba, apricot kernel, vitamin E. I do have to say, that in just a couple days, so far, I think I like argan oil the best. I hesitantly applied the argan oil to my face. I was hoping that what all the reviews said were true and that it would not make my face greasy but regulate facial oil production and help clear up scars and blemishes. It absorbed into my face and provided a moisturized but matte finish. There is no added fragrance to this argan oil. The smell of this oil in its unaltered state is a little like a very faint scent of olive oil and vinegar salad dressing. When applied to my dry hair it created as shiny softer texture. So far, I love this. I will write more after a couple of weeks and report how well this argan oil banishes blemishes and scars and repairs dry hair.

Love the Aura Cacia brand of Rosehip Oil. It is anti aging and comes from Chile! I love the gentle fragrance and it absorbs nicely. Great to use under foundation as part of skincare routine.

A nice argan oil, which I use on my hair. It creates a nice sheen and provides moisture to hair that has become more dry than typical. This is my first time purchasing argan oil, so I have nothing to compare it to … but with all the comments about receiving oil that smelled like expired cooking oil, I decided to purchase this and another brand of argan oil at the same time – hoping one would be useable. Both arrived smelling fine, I would not call either having a “nutty” smell but both had a light pleasant/benign smell (i.e., not bad cooking oil). The only negative, which was mention previously about this brand – some oil had leaked out of the bottle into the packaging – which appears to be the fault of the manufacturer (a bottle closure deficiency). The package arrived more than adequately packed and sealed. Only a small amount of the oil leaked out into the inner packaging that encapsulated the bottle, so there was still plenty of oil remaining in the bottle. Not a bottle that I would use for travel, but I like the argan oil.
